Hey guys! Just thought I'd drop in for a quick update. July 5th, I celebrated my 1 year since Chemo - NED 1 year Anniversary. Friday, July 13th, I celebrated my 34th birthday. Then, today, I found out that I'm pregnant!! After all I've been through with the loss of the twins, and the bc diagnosis, I am soooo thrilled!
They did an ultrasound today and being so early, all we could really see was the sac. I have another appt and ultrasound scheduled for July 30th. We're hoping to be able to see the baby then.
I'm so excited, my dh and 6 yr old son is too.
Hugs to all!!!

Marla,
This post made me cry like crazy.
I am happy for you like you have no idea.
That's all I've ever wanted in life....since I was 23. (40 now) and my recent dx with Trip Neg cancer sealed the lid on my ever having a child. (Ovaries gotta go.)
I have a prayer list for people I've met on this website. Your name is going to the top of the list.
Congratulations Marla.

Congrats on your new womb mate! God is able, Stephanie -
Congratulations Marla!!!
That is one of the best posts I've read in a long time. I didn't even know that was possible as I thought this stuff sends you right into menopause. I always wanted a child, but never had one. I'm SUPER happy for you and your family!
Sending love and prayers for a happy, healthy child,

UPDATE:
Houston...we have a baby! Had the ultrasound done and all is well. They are watching me very closely, and will be sending me on to a high risk specialist throughout the pregnancy.
Thanks so much for all the well-wishes and prayers!!! Lord knows I'll take all I can get!
Hugs!
