A very good friend of mine has just been dx with Ovarian Cancer. When I Was dx with Breast Cancer a mutual friend of ours made me an awesome quilt made out of FLANNEL fabric squares, some of the squares had pink ribbons. We are searching for Teal FLANNEL fabric so we can make her one. I'm hoping someone on here might know where I can find this item.

First place I always look is ebay--? can't hurt
Next place would be quilting supplies, on the net then fabric supplies on the net.

Have you searched JoAnn Fabrics or the Rag Shop? Walmart has some great fabrics too. Maybe you can get the teal and just sew on pink ribbons? Also, maybe someone from FORCE might be able to help. They represent both ovarian and breast cancer on the net. their site is www.facingourrisk.org and the logo is teal and pink for both. Just a thought.

Your problem is a common one among quilters and there are a lot of search engines that are intended to help them find the fabric they're looking for. Not being a quilter, I haven't used any of them (so can't make a recommendation), but you'll be able to find them by searching "quilter fabric search" under Google.

There is a site called quiltshops.com. You can do an item search, with your description and it will bring up numerous web stores you can order the item from. I usually ask it to display the thumbnails, to see the picture.

My favorite search engine is on EQuilter.com. I believe that I saw some teal ribbon fabrics recently. Just type in "cancer", and you'll get a lot of choices. Good luck!
