The oncologist gave my mom her test results. The CT scan and her PET whole body scan shows that her cancer has spread though out her bones. I felt so sorry for her. She kept saying that she only have pain in her back but the oncologist told her that she does have cancer through out her bones. She also wanted to know how long she will live. Oncologist responded to her that everyone is different but people in her case can live 2 to 3 years. However, she could live more years. To take it one step at a time. Also, she will not need chemo for now instead she will be taking arimidex 1mg. I am so happy that my mom know the truths. Everyone have a right to know there own health condition. It is so sad to see your mom getting such horribles news. I kept it together for her. but, inside I was busting into tears.
Oncologist gave her oxycodone for her pain. So far today she feels better than yesterday however the medication for the pain is making her sleepy. She will also be getting bisphosphonates treatments for her bones. That should make her bone stronger.
