Changed my Herceptin schedule last week

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to post a recent experience in hopes that it may help others. I was on a 3 week herceptin schedule for the past 6 months. Recently the side effects had become quite unbearable for me, so much so that i didn't feel like finishing treatment! I had chronic headaches, muscle aches, alot of fatigue and depression- all these effects were amplified after my triple dose and got better as the weeks progressed. WEll last week i tried a single dose schedule. Not a headache (maybe a baby headache the next day) fatigue was lessened and muscle pain seemed less too. My depressive episode which happened a couple of days after triple dose didn't occur and all in all i feel better! I'm cringing at the thought of going back to the chemo center in a couple of days, but really, for me a weekly dose was so much more tolerable.
I know we're told that Herceptin shouldn't have any side effects and maybe this is in relation to the hard chemo, but it does have it's own side effects which i couldn't bear any longer. Hoping this helps anyone whose trying to make sense of "why do i feel so bad when herceptin has no side effects?"
