IBC, does this sound like it needs follow-up?

Hi all, I'm a bit worried, and so turned here.
I posted this in the "worried" forum, but realized this might be more appropriate.

About 6 months ago my OB felt "thickening" in my left breast and was concerned. A mamogram revealed nothing. An ultrasound was done, again nothing. (I never felt the thickening she did, and was not concerned)

About 3 months ago, my left breast suddenly grew (over the span of a week it seems). It has always been a bit bigger than the right, but it is now quite a bit bigger, both the breast and nipple. It is frequently itchy and "achy". I have searched for lumps often, simply because something seems "not quite right". Having not found any lumps, I've put it in the back of my mind.

I received an email about IBC today, and wonder if I fit the profile. I have not had any changes since the initial growth spirt, and have not had the redness (although I have very frequent rashes that look like heat rash across my breasts). So, my left breast is still larger than the right (the difference is enough to notice with a bra and shirt on). Oh, I am 45 years old with no family history of BC.
