low white blood counts

Hi ladies: I am 3 months out from last chemo. Now on Arimidex and Herceptin. Went to the onc today and am anemic. She is not too concerned at this point but I am. She thinks I might residual effects from CMF I had 15 years ago when I went through round #1. Anyone have any ideas??? My count is 10.2

I was supposed to have reconstructive surgery in Junes but it was postponed due to my low white blood count. Mine was 2100 (normal is 4000 plus). I finished AC June '05 and rads Oct '06. Can we still be effected after so long??!!
I hope we get some more answers from gals on the site. My onc said to keep an eye on it as my count seems to "run a little low". whatever that means!! I have goolgled this condition and have found the scary diseases like lupus and fibromyalgia. I am also having sore rib cage pain.
I will be having another blood test in August and am hoping my count goes up. In the mean time I have been taking some chineese herbs that are supposed to help. I know everyone says there is nothing to bring the white count up but this was advice from a professional cancer coach who had the same problem.

Astragalus is supposed to raise your white blood count, among other things. Best wishes!

I've had a "moderately low" white blood count since chemo and rads in 1999. I finally went up to 4.0 this year; but was diagnosed with another cancer. (breast) It has been very frustrating. I have chronic low energy and have to conserve my energy daily. Let's keep in touch for ideas and if we can get any answers from the doctors. Thanks.

I have chronically low white count 3.0 approx. I had 18 rounds of chemo in 03-05 for Ovarian cancer and never have been the same. I may have to have chemo for recurrant BC, I just had bilateral June 3.

I will find out june 17 if I have to have chemo. If so, I dread Nulasta (I had bad experience with it in 04) What can I do?? I pray NO Chemo ever again!!!
