Hello all. I'm so glad for this board.
Today I had to tell my partner that the docs want me to have a PET scan because, in my bone density scan, they saw a pattern suggestive of mets. I found this out on Wed but I was trying to butch it out until after the PET. She, of course, was great when I broke the news. The PET is on Monday morning and we'll get the results Tuesday morning after my radiation treatment.

Oh Miss Myrtle, I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Maybe if you think about it as CANCER worrying your partner and not you worrying her that might help you. I'm sure she wouldn't want you to have the additional burden of "not worrying her" to add to the cancer concerns. Please keep us posted.
