SPEAKING OF MEN.........

How about Tim McGraw?

Oh Richard Geere is nice also.
Nite kids. -
lini. This is not the same thread that you remember. You might give my first post on this one another look. It's a place to talk about out husbands and the silly things they do or the nice things. And why not our fantasy men? It's just a "fluff thread". There's nothing controversial about it, just some daydreaming and a few laughs. Okay?
Helpful Hint:
This is something that's alot of fun and quite entertaining. Sometimes my husband will sit where he can see the computer screen and I pretend I don't know what he's doing. I'll be typing, he'll be reading, and i start typing something that he wouldn't want me telling anybody. Now the trick here is....keeping a straight face & trying to continue typing after he's let you know that he's read it. This fun little activity will only work about the first 5 or 6 times until the husband catches on. hahahahaha

I absolutely adore Sam Elliott. Have loved him since "Mask" and just recently "Ghost Rider".
-
Deb - you are too funny ... there are soooo many to shop for - how will you ever decide ???? I know I have a really hard time with decisions when there are sooooo many good choices!
Doreen -
There are too many good choices. I love them all. Country music has a lot. I had forgotten about Tim McGraw.
-
Charlene...since you have so many men to choose from, I think maybe I should get Viggo all to myself...however, you can have any or all of the Village People!!
RE: Barry Manilow - I actually had a huge crush on him in junior high and high school - that is something that about 3 people in the whole world know about!!! I actually believed that "Mandy" was really for me! HOW EMBARASSING!!! Have you seen that guys schnozz??
And I agree that Vincent D'Onofrio (sp?) is really sexy in a not obvious kind of way!! -
Oh yeah, I just have to tell you guys that when my hubby and I were first together (21 years ago) some people thought he looked like Tom Selleck (although skinnier!) Now he resembles Jerry Seinfeld a little since he shaved off that moustache but we still laugh about his Tom Selleck days!
-
I have a thing for bald heads. So Bruce Willis is the man for me.But i also have this really weird thing for Kevin Spacey. Both a lil older than me but still totally SEXY!!!
-
You girls crack me up. I am sipping wine, just came home from work and finally saw this thread!!
I love Clooney!! -
Mandy, I too, have a dark side. I liked Barry Manilow, too. I found this old pic of him and that was just about the time that i was diggin' me some feathered hair and polyester! ...you came and you gave without taking...
-
my husband just looks like his dad. Bummer, I wanna look a like. shiff shiff will someone share with me pretty please
-
I do the quick scroll when the man walks in even tho he knows without doubt that I am taking about him.
I don't peek over his shoulder to read about the last fancy gizmo on his car, so he shouldnt be reading over mine
I ahv now progressed tp ambien typing so I do believe it' time for bed see ya in the am if were here. -

Did someone mention the 'southern gentleman of country music'? I have most of his cd's.
And remember, its 5 o'clock somewhere.... -
aww who could forget ALAN JACKSON my my my
I have to agree i forgot all about Sam Eliot and CSI GRISSOM. OHHHHHHHHH LA LA -
You guys can have that younger version of Tom Selleck you are posting cause I'll take the OLDER version. He just flat out grew into that ruggedness (is that a word?)
Also I loved the new James Bond, what was his name? A James Bond that actually bleeds, gets his hair mussed up and still looks good in that tux! THAT'S HOT (teehee) -

Jax...create a free account on www.photobucket.com and upload the pic to your album and then paste the link. It won't work from your personal hard drive.
-
Thanks, I have been trying to figure this out for 1/2 an hour now! Will be back shortly! Jackie
-
No way Mandy! Hey when I talk about Viggo I don't mention anyone else in the same paragraph! You talked about at least four other's in the same breath! Nope, I might share but you can't have him all!
btw, there's something about a man who doesn't look perfect. Manilow was a cutie, even with that big schnozz!!! lol I was thrilled when I heard a song with my name in it .. I can't think of it now but some country song and something about a water tower. I was too old by then to think it was about me though! lol
Charlene -
O.K. Going to try this again! A pic of my fantasy Man!And no, it's not Scooby Doo!
-
Awesome!
-
OMG you guys crack me up - I LOVE this thread! I never went to "Moving Beyond Cancer" because I am still in treatment and didn't think I 'deserved' to be here yet...but I am so glad I visited because it is so fun to get into something besides bc!!!! And "Hot Men and my hubby" is one of my favourite topics!!!!
Charlene - I agree about imperfect men...maybe that's why we both like Viggo - he's yummy but not in a typical pretty boy way...okay you convinced me - you can have him on Tuesdays!
Cheri - I knew every lyric to every song that Barry sang! He was my first concert - I actually cried (I was 14). When I get into conversations now about "who was the first concert you ever went to" I always refuse to tell so it's a BIG mystery to my friends...as I said you ladies are a priviledged lot to know this about me. Of course, the fact that you don't know where I live or what I look like may be a factor in this!! (ha ha). You know, I still like some of his music - I don't apologize for that - and although my name is really Amanda - I STILL get people singing "Mandy" to me (and of course "Amanda" by Don Williams or Boston) -
The only man i ever wanted was
JFK JR. now that is a true blue man -
well shoot howdy Mandy. Of course you belong here. You earned the right the second you heard those nasty words. Jump on over to the Circle the Wagons thread and introduce yourself. Lots of love there.
-
My first concert was at 16, Eric Clapton, man oh man. Stood right up next to the stage and had some guy literally pass out on me.
Still love Eric Clapton ............ -
wow, I second the motion that there are just TOOOOOO many to choose from...
I forgot about Alan Jackson and he is one of my utmost favorites....a girl friend of mine used to be married to a man that could be his double....I loved going to her house ....
I think out of all the country stars my ultimate favorite is George Strait....that sly smile of his just does something for me!!!!!...I have always hated the name George, but I will take THAT George ANYTIME!!!!!!
This is so fun!!!! -
Bugs...you took the words/picture right out of my dreams.
I love Mike Rowe...been watching him everynight just before bed????
I'll also take Tom Selleck at any age...my sister told me to marry my dh because she thought he looked like TS.
Cheri...totally agree on a younger Dino...so cute..How about Cary Grant? So hot looking...hmmmm -
Sshhh a truck driver is walking in the door right now who looks like Jeremy Trotter from the Eagles...Looking good....
-
forgot about those country men Gary Allan with his ruggedness and that voice is super hot
-
Never understood the Leo DeCaprio thing. He's hot? He looks like a girl!
Tom Selleck, Sam Elliot---oh yeah, that's for me. And, Lord help me, I think Tommy, the contractor on This Old House is kinda cute! Maybe I just like men who can fix stuff since I live with one! He's pretty cute too. He's 67 and still has a tiny tush and manly man shoulders. (He'd be so embarrassed. Cheri---I gotta try that trick.)
