Have a Blog to Share?
I have been asked a couple of times by people who are either newly disagnosed or are facing the possibility for recommendations for blogs of women sharing their BC stories. I know there are a handful of bloggers on here, but now that I'm looking I, of course, can't find them!
I'd like to start a list of them here so those people can easily find them. If you have one or know of a good one, share it with us!

Ok, well the members who are bloggers haven't shown up yet. If you'd like to try some others, I finally found a few online.

Twisty's blog is the only thing I've read about breast cancer that I can relate to at all. -
I have my own blog to share. I don't post very often now, but when I was diagnosed (Sept 2006) and going through chemo (Sept 2006-January 2007), surgery (Feb 2007), and radiation (Feb-Apr 2007)....then I posted very regularly. It was so therapeutic.
I created the blog to keep my family and friends updated on my progress, especially for those afraid to call me for fear of "bothering" me.
But as I wrote and shared my stories, I hoped that others might learn that breast cancer doesn't have to take over your life, that you can lead a normal life (as if we were ever normal to begin with) even through treatment.
Anyway, for what it's worth, here is my blog:

Thanks to all the ladies who have shared their blogs. I've got some reading to do! :-)

I just started one and haven't posted too much. It's dillysgrandma.blogspot.com

I've kept a blog since my diagnosis. It was very helpful, for me, to be able to write everything down. It was also a good medium to keep my distant friends and family up-to-date on what was going on with me. Twink's Blog
I also found this website midway through treatment and have started writing 'my' story. I couldn't get enough of other women's stories after I was diagnosed...searching for commonality and hope. Breast Cancer Stories -
Hi - I am a bc mets survivor. I started a blog last Dec. while in the hospital when I was first diagnosed with mets. As with Twink, it has been my way to keep interested people informed about my treatments, etc. without repeating the story 92 times (which is very boring). It has also helped me to see the progress I have made. Thanks, Jacque

I started my caringbridge blog when I was first diagnosed. It has been a great way for me to keep track of my experience while also keeping my friends and family up to date.

I've been incorporating our experiences with bc into my regular blog. I didn't start it as a bc blog but it's been a primary topic since last April. If you want to see bc from the husband's POV, check it out.

I'm not a regular visitor to these boards, so my infrequent posts are sometimes late or out of context. I'm glad I found this thread today - I'm looking forward to visiting these links!
My blog is "A rural woman's breast cancer journal" at http://ruralwomen.wordpress.com. When I was diagnosed, a friend asked if I would share my experience with other women, so I began a journal when I went to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Retreat in December 2007, shortly after I finished radiation therapy.

I just started my blog this summer...... still learning how. It has very minimal to do with my BC story, and is about my professional travels, artistic aspirations, journeys and some lovely mundane day-to-day as a grandma!
arnica, glad you found the thread, as I'll enjoy reading some of the blogs above. TwirlGirl, took just a minute to pop in on your "Found Object" and am already delighted. Just LOVED the tassels..... from your mom, I think.

I've started a blog!
-
I started mine just after diagnosis. It has proved to be very therapeutic for me.
-
My blog was really a continuation of my longtime travel writings that I had just started to transfer online when my wife got diagnosed. I will soon return to writing about travels, celebrity sightings and such, but my blog deals more with the perspective of a significant other/ husband as we found about cancer, went through surgery and cope with all the decisions and emotions.
Please PM me if you'd like me to add you to my blogroll

My husband and I have a large family and work in a sizable office. After each biopsy, Dr. Appointment, or surgery we were inundated with calls and emails. My website started out as a way to inform family and friends of my condition but as it turned out it has been the most therapeutic thing I've done so far. Forgive me in advice for my since of humor. Laughter is what works for me.

Hi,
I started a blog this fall to share paintings I made about the two cancers I'm surviving (breast cancer and thyroid cancer)....I feel I'm not so good with words to express my journey;-)
-
I did one about reconstruction (that I really need to update because I never talked about the areola tattoos).
