Living in Florida and working in a very relaxed job, my wardrobe consisted of mostly tank tops and jeans. So today, almost 4 weeks post-op I was determined to wear a tank out in publc. I had to go in for a checkup with the surgeon and so I put on my tank top along with my Wal-Mart silicone insert (paid $15.00 for a pair) and off I went. The nurse could not get over how good I looked. She was even more shocked when I told her it was just a Wal-Mart insert that I was wearing and not one that I had been fitted for. Wow, it makes such a differance in my self esteem. Even went to the grocery store and for the first time in 3 weeks, I didn't feel like everyone was staring at my chest and I didn't have to wear a frumpy sweatshirt (in 90 degee heat).

    Wow, I'm on a role today. I even put my Wal-mart insert into my swim suit and jumped in the pool. My kids are so excited to have the old mom back instead of the one that lays on the couch and feels sorry for herself. At this rate, I might even try going to the gym tomorrow:)

    All I can say at this point Ginger is: THANK GOD FOR WALMART
    Im glad you getting back to your old self and Im positive that your family is in the clouds over it...

    Good job!!! its takes alot sometimes to pull yourself out of the pits but you have done a wonderful job at it....

    Hey Marsha, I'm in Orlando.

    Well, my night was a little strange. I was listening to my Ipod while cleaning and Melissa Etheridge's song I Run For Life came on and I got real angry about this whole mess. So for the first time in.....wow, 6 weeks or so I put on my running shoes and I went for about a mile and a half walk/jog to let off some steam. A little sore today but it felt good to get some of the anger out. So all in one day, I wore a tank top, put on my swim suit and went swimming and I also went jogging. Better then sitting on the couch watching T.V.
