A pretty cool initiative

I've been researching and thinking about how I want to focus my graduate program in social work (assuming I'm accepted that is!). I know I'll concentrate in medical/oncology, so since I already work in a cancer center, I was discussing the concept of survivorship with a colleague and learned that my institution is already initiating related programs. Since I'm also interested in alternative and complementary medicine, imagine my delight to find this announcement!

Lotsa cool stuff going on in this area, it seems, and I plan to see if I can make a contribution!

    Bravi Marin!

This is a wonderful idea and the program seems well designed. There seem to be many of these types of programs in the US now. In the 80's I found programs in Arizona, New Mexico and California but the East Coast was slow on the uptake....but finally

Brain Science and the Biology of Belief are in the news everywhere!

A friend of mine participated in a research study at the U of Penn and the book that was written from the findings is called "Why God Won't Go Away". Probably you can find many like it now, but then it was ground breaking.

Best wishes and keep us posted on your progress.
