Stretch marks on my incision?

Options
Hi all - I just noticed what look like stretch marks on about 20% of my mast. scar. Anyone else have this? I am about 8 months past surgery, and only a month out rads -- had bad burning, so it is all very new skin there. I have been active the past few weeks -- really getting into yoga stretches and walking, biking and gardening, and pushing myself -- but I can't imagine I caused stretch marks in such a short time.
Thanks for any advice

    Hi Kim,
I developed tiny stretch marks going from the top and bottom of the scar. My surgeon did such a great job of pulling the skin tight and a perfect straight line, that I have no complaints about a few tiny stretch marks. What I love is I have no dog ears either because it's so tightly pulled. Good news is..they have faded over time!

    Luck to you~Pam

thanks -- now I am not sure if they are stretch marks, or just discoloration from the burn. You are so lucky not to have dog ears -- I had a top surgeon in my area, and I have a big old lump -- the nurse says it's fat. gee - there is no fat on the other side......
thanks for answering -- I was feeling like a freak of nature there...

I had a skin saving mastectomy 7 weeks ago and it isn't pretty. There are strech marks and an irritating little flap almost under my arm which I am told is a pocket of fat - I guess this is a dog ear. It rubs against my bra. My scar is still swollen, even though I have been having weekly lymphatic massages and massaging myself each day. Haven't decided to have reconstruction yet.
