Oragne Peel Images?

Is there anywhere I can see what mild orange peel looks like? Yesterday I noticed an small pitted area on my right breast that has the texture of and orange. But the images I've see are way more advanced that what I have. I need an image of one that may not really warrent concern of an everyday person that would see this with knowing about IBC. Can someone tell me where I can see what this looks like? Also, I can take a pic of the spot mysefl and see if it may be this orange peel probelm, but I"m not sure if i can post images on here. Of course you woulnd't know it was my breast because it would it would just be showing the spot. Anyway, any help on this would be great.

I haven't seen any images that show a mild form of the orange peel effect, just advanced like you mentioned. I had ibc with a small amount of peel effect, but don't have any pics (my surgeon did take some for his records, but I didn't want copies!)

Your best bet is to get an apt with your doctor, if it is ibc (chances are it is not, but if it is..) you don't want to waste time. Your doctor should check it out and order a mammogram and/or ultrasound.

I was diganosed with IBC without the orange peel symptom and would suggest that you get it checked out. I waited a few months before going to the doctor because I didn't recognize any of the usual symptoms. Even after my diagnosis I didn't want to believe it because the pictures that I saw online were very different from the way my breast looked. Good luck, Cindy
