I'm scared for her. Lately, I've been a bit stronger for her but behind closed doors I still cry. I went with her to her consultation appointment and they let her know that before surgery, she will have to begin chemo. They said it is going to be the most effective chemo for the size of her lump and because of how much the cancer has progressed. she will be going through 8 seccions of chemo done every 3 weeks. Her first one is today. I don't know what to do. How to feel. She is brave. More brave then what I'd ever seen before. I'm just scared too because they told her that they had found something in her liver and will be doing yet ANOTHER scan to find out if whatever they found is cancerous too.

Hi There Nancy, See? I found ya. Your still welcome to the other forum. We would love to hear about how your sister's chemo and how it will be coming along. Yes, your going to be emotional with this still. She is your sister. I hope her first chemo went well. I am sure it did. Everyone is different with it too. You just relax and let the doctors do what they need to do. She would want that. Try not to be so hard on yourself sweety. Just be there for her that is all you can do and help her along. I know it is easier said than done, but Try not to worry to much. Take Care.

    Good luck & God Bless,
    Kaloni

This is so muchharder on the family. I got BC and my sister got high blood pressure and some extra pounds!

Be there for her, trust that doctors and nurses. Ask what you can do to help and then be sure and make her tell you. My sister told me I'd better not try to do everything myself and she wanted to help - makes it easier to ask (not that I need to - she just barges in and does what needs done!)
