A chemo nurse lent this book to my wife last week. She enjoyed it and recommends it. It's comic-book style and gets to the nitty gritty with humor. Check it out on Amazon.com

I also liked it - it's edgy -- nothing sappy sweet about it. Gave me some good chuckles when I was laid out during chemo.

I read it, liked it a lot. Loaned my copy to my friend and haven't see it since. I'll have to check on that...

I've just finished this and loved it. I don't think I could have read it during diagnosis or treatment. Too many things going on, too wrapped up in what was going on around me to take it all in. It's been wonderful to read this and retrace where I've been and how far I've come. I wasn't sure at first since it is in comic book style, but it's truly brilliant.
For anyone looking for this book, it is written by Marisa Acocella Marchetto.

I've discussed this book with a few other cancer survivors and on a few on line book clubs. I think this book is an excellent resource for family and friends of breast cancer survivors going through diagnosis and treatment.

The graphics are wonderful and it is an excellent description of the fear that we all go through, and the process and it explains it all so much better than words can often do justice.
