Hello ladies, how are you?
-
Hello!!!
How are you, ladies?
-
Hi Fire
I read your posts on our other site but have been too busy to answer...Im thinking that I will try to sit and write you all there this week...
I had a 6 month follow up with oncologist Friday...he changed me from Tamoxiphen to Femara.....I thought you were taking this too?? Or maybe it is Angela....anyway how are you ladies doing with it??
Ive been on the tamox for almost 2 1/2 yrs now and the fatigue is AWFUL!!! I kept thinking it would go away but it just continued to get worse so he said to stop the tamox, wait 2 wks then start the femara to see if this helps.
I hope you all are doing well!!!
Hugs
Jule

Hello to all!
I just had mammo and ultrasound, normal!
Sometimes I forget about cancer, sometimes I'm thinking- I'm forgetting, but it can return and it will be more upseting... But after that I'm forgetting again:)
Life is not bad. Just pain in the legs, fatig , weight gain, and high holesterol - 308.
What to do with holesterol? I know nothing about it.
I'm working, busy. Missing you, girls.
Wish you all happy and healthy life.

Hello everybody!
I hope everything is well with you. I'm fine, just past 5 years since diagnosis.
As usual had very bad time with my Dr- she was in a hurry , didn't want to give me a checkup- said that nurse is enough.
I really don't understand - if I wait for 6 months to see her, and pay for Doctor, why I have to be seen by nurse?
OK, it is over anyway- she said that after 5 years I'm going to be in the survivorship group
and from now on be seen by nurse ( like it was different before) in 6 month.
If I will have any problem, nurse will contact Dr.
I had MRI which is good.
I have to take Arimidex for 7 years ( because of lymph node)
I was not referred to do any tests, so I'm wondering- what happened when you got this 5 years mark?
Did you have any blood work? When my husband asked Dr what survivorship mean, she said "it means nothing, we just have allot of patient in active treatment so we made this group".
She was not giving me any assurance that I have good prognosis, so, I think it is just less attentions and no tests, but the same risk.
I have to have mammo once per year.
I'm wondering what is going on with you?
Please share your experience and tell me if I need any test?
