Okay -- I am in the minority, and I don't say this to be mean, just to voice another opinion. I didn't care for the book -- found it kinda superficial, didn't focus much on her actual experience, and there were differing versions of some incidents that were mentioned at beginning and end of book - which to me, shows poor editing. Call me a traditionalist, I'll take Susan Love's Breast Book any day, and for personal expereince, I liked "The Red Devil" and "Dancing with Fear"
Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in --

I would like to recommend the book "Beating Cancer With Nutrition" by Patrick Quillan (book is endorsed by Linus Pauling, twice Nobel Laureate). Wish I had read it before my chemo/radiation (it's supposed to help with damage from the treatments. I recommended it to someone given 1-2 years to live; he did the supplements and raw, organic juicing of veggies, and now they can't find any cancer in his body. I'm not doing the juicing, but I'm trying to eat lots of veggies, and taking recommended supplements (hope it keeps that nasty cancer away).

I've enjoyed reading the quotes on this site. I've also purchased some of Ashleigh Brilliant's books. We need he laughs. Ashleighbrilliant.com

Thanks for that I was commisioned to write up my first exp of BC but then publisher rejected on the grounds that it was "too light-hearted". If I had not the right to laugh at myself, treatments, doctors etc - who else?
Think I will retrieve it from drawer, bring it up to date and look for another publisher.
