Thanks Tiffany.  I started yesterday and they gave me a shot in my IV of Aloxi for nausea and a bag of steriods.  I also take the decadron pills today.  I had a pretty bad headache when I got home and most of the night.  I took a darvocet that I had left over from my mastectomy surgery.  I was pretty jittery and didn't sleep much.  But no nausea so far.  I'm taking Zofran every 8 hours.  I also had a Nuelasta shot this morning.  My onco doesn't wait around, she gives it immediately the day following chemo.  Right now I am starving, seems like all I've done is eat since I had chemo.  So now I'm gonna eat my happy meal and try to get some rest.  Thanks for all the help everyone!

tammyjden: Glad to hear that your first TC round went well.

I had my first of 4 TC treatments today and it went well, I wrote a long explanation on the Chemo Nov 2010 topic.  So far so good, no major side effects yet!

I just finished my second of 6 TC treatments. Other than stomach ache and achey bones and joints from the Neulasta, I am doing fine.

    Sandymess,

Glad to hear that you are fairing well....I just had my 3rd  T/C treatment (of 6) this past Friday.  Let's hope and pray that things continue to go smoothly for both of us!

    Take care,

    Tori

To irelandmb: Maybe because it is not standard procedure. My oncologist told me that he uses the triad (A/C and T). I am looking for information about two or one medication for chemotherapy. How it is going with you the combination of T+C?

    To GHW from Georgia,

I was going to submit to my oncologist's wish to chemotherapy. I just asked him about the possibility of using only one medication, which I can take orally and with less side effects. But it seems that Cytoxan and Taxotere are both as strong as adriamycin in theit side effects.
