going for MRI today

Options

Today I will have an MRI to get a look at a suspicious finding from my mammo and US. I had this same irregular spot 6 months ago and had an MRI and it did not light up, it has not changed in size over the 6 months but they are insisting I follow the MRI with a US guided needle biopsy, which I will be glad to do, do you think they are looking for it to be DCIS? it is 1 cm in size. My original cancer was in the other breast it was 1.2cm high grade IDC. Thanks for your thoughts on this, Joko

I called for the MRI results today and my results are on "lock down" until tomorrow. Either it is not finished or is awaiting a consultation, I am to call back tomorrow. No matter what this is and even if it does not lite up, I am going to ask for a removal of this leison. Joko

    Shirley,

Is is possible that you had "nodular" liver before as opposed to liver "nodules"? A nodular liver might be thought of as lumpy on the surface/within.

You best direct your question to your doctors as to any difference between what they are now terming tiny liver lesions and what you said they priorly called liver nodules. This is where clear communication is so important for you.

I'm glad they said the results were "stable" on the CT.

Do let us know how you do tomorrow; we'll all be thinking of you.

    Tender
