FORCE annual chat-a-thon going on now!

Dear Friends,

Please stop by the FORCE chat room and participate in our 6th annual chat-a-thon! As many of you know, FORCE is an organization devoted to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, those with strong family history of cancer or BRCA mutations.

What, you might ask, is a chat-a-thon? A Chat-a-thon is a drive to raise awareness about FORCE and the great work that we do, while raising needed funding to keep us going. Six years ago, in an attempt to find an event which would unite our community, but didn't require all of us traveling to the same place at once, I came up with the idea of a chat-a-thon. The concept is similar to a walk-a-thon, although you never have to leave your home (or even your chair).

This year our Chat-a-thon will be held on January 6-7 around the clock in our FORCE chat-room at:

The chat-a-thon will begin at 1 minute after midnight (eastern time) tonight and will end at midnight on the evening of Sunday, January 7. During those 48 hours you can drop in at any time to chat with our wonderful volunteers!

This will involve incredible team-work. We need all of you to show up and chat with our volunteers and to tell all your family and friends about FORCE and our chat-a-thon!!!! Tell them they can visit any time, day or night! Attire is informal, come as you are! :-) see you there!
