I was disappointed to read that hormone positive BC can become resistant to AI treatments just like the resistance observed in Tamoxifan treatments over time. What is the alternative if this occurs in a patient? They mention using Herceptin in conjunction with the AI but what if the patient is Her2-negative? Then what is the treatment plan?

Thanks for posting this. Very interesting. That was a surprise about possible AI resistance.

jlong--Thank you very much for posting the site.

As to your comment about the AI's; there are some doctors
that are trying (I know it sounds crazy) estradiol to kind of shock the body into responding to the AI's again.

I haven't found too much written about it but its out there
    with some success. Susie L

Thanks for posting that. I've been seeing that announcement on the home page and wondering how anybody could ask questions when they didn't know what was going on there.
