    Hi Mike,
thank you for your posting. I fully support you and your efforts to produce this film. I live in Victoria and was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in December 2005 at 42. I finished treatment in the summer and I am still recovering from this ordeal. (Mastectomy, 4 months of chemo)

I saw your website and viewed the clips and I really like what you said about celebrating each day as if it's our last. I keep hearing that from lots of people and reading about it in books but it doesn't hurt to hear it again and be reminded. Even though I have had many bad days this past year, I try and live in the moment. Every day my goal is to walk along Dallas road and see the ocean, the sky and feel the wind and smell the ocean sea. It reminds me that I am still connected with the earth and life... even though it feels like I am closer to death than I expected.

I attend a support group for young women with breast cancer (under 45) here in Victoria at the Cancer Agency and it's surprising how many younger women are affected by this disease. It's important to keep connected to others who understand what we are going through especially for younger women.

I hope that in the future they find a real cure for this awfull disease. Too many women are dying and suffering from this.

I look forward to seeing this film.... meanwhile I continue to "Face the sun" each and every day.

    HI Bonnie

I'm from Victoria too, but I don't understand why you keep saying for younger women. I'm an older woman and I think I'm just as scared as a younger woman. I don't feel dispensible yet
