Just wanted to share this and do not know where to post,
so I'm posting here coz this was irresistable
and their eyes do say a lot...
Some weeks ago when parking the car near school,
spoted this kitty between the side walk and the road,
all alone, no mom nor anyone around and scared to death.
Grabbed him with my scarf and though I do not have conditions
at this moment to keep him, took him with me.
At school I bet you can imagine what happaned.
Here he is not quite sure what that red cozy thing was for.
He was so miserable and lost.
Another hug.
And OKAY this is good.
He got okay at least with his tummy full ...
Lots of hugs and would not let go a second.
And another lap ... let's do it again!!
What a day? Hum?
Life can be so good...
And he was adopted by a girl that has a zoo at home,
and that can give him all what he needs
and the all space to be a happy kitty.
She gave him the name Lucky. And Lucky he as been.
I do not have four legs hairy friends,
though was raised with a lot of friend of the kind
cats, dogs and even had a goat as my best friend.
Today my palls are this kind of guys here,
Iris the bigger is 8 years old
Tugas is about to be one year,
well ... what happened in here?...
I know it may be hard to believe
Iris was about to died
of grieve because her friend passed away,
they had live here together since babies,
she stopped eating and refuse to stay in the water,
they just can not be out of the water for too long they die,
and after her friend passed away
she just stood there up on the rock in the tank
for more them a month, laying down and not reacting to a thing.
Until I got Tugas, it took her a while but after
3 weeks one day they started to walk around like this
and Iris went back being a normal turtle again.
wherever they go they go like this.
Sometime back for personal reasons, and things like
the need for more space for a new thank for this two and so on ...
I had to find them a new home for them both
I could only keep another turtle I have
still a baby in one of the tanks,
and so they went to an aquatic park.
In hundreds of turtles doing what turtles do
either on the rocks, on the grass, or on the pool and so on,
wherever one can spot this two always,
still they go around like this everywhere.
Would post the baby turtle, that in fact double this year,
but she is so shy still, that I only manage
to take pics of her shell, she sees a machine and hides,
or runs swiming fast, fast, fast, fast,
FAST HELP, HELP HELP I WANNA HIDE!!!
Do something else different near her and she does fine.
Hugs. -
Maria, that kitten is adorable. I'm not even a cat lover and I am melting.
My dog is mostly lab with a little bit of chow. You can tell by her fluffy tail and the brown marks behind her legs. I'm also not a huge dog lover, but she is the sweetest dog we've ever had. -
omg those are great pictures ty for sharing them...
what an adorable little kitten...
so nice to know you found it a good little home....
i am one of those ppl to that will take a stray home
