sore dry mouth

my sister complained to me that her mouth feels very dry all the time, she is drinkig a lot of fluids to relieve it but small cracks are forming by now. What to do ? please HELP. She has had her first chemo about 8 days ago. It is A/C, next is scheduled I believe for 10/13 Love you all .
