I was helping in my son's kindergarten class today. I commented to his teacher that I liked her haircut - she replied that she didn't like her color that her hairdresser made it too dark. I then said, "at least you have hair!" with a smile of course and then she laughed and said she needed to tell me something. A few minutes later she told me about how when I had helped in the class a week ago (wearing my pink doo-rag) that the teacher next door came over at the end of the day. The other teacher said that her students were telling her that there was a "pirate" in Mrs. H's class - they said the "pirate was wearing an eye-patch too"....!!! I think I need to go to the Halloween store and get an eyepatch and then next time I'm in, I'll stick my head up in their window and say, "AAAARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

That is so funny! Five years ago I had a detached retina, so I had to wear an eye patch for a few weeks. My kids called me, "The Pirate."

The strange thing was that no one said a word when I was in the grocery store. (And I've been going there for 30 years.)
