Hi all - My mom was diagnosed with BC over 3 years ago. She was really lucky and did not have to go through chemo, but I really feel for all you out there who are not as lucky as me. I am a physician so I can understand a lot of the medical aspects of things and I have seen a lot of women with breast cancer. Something that my family tries to do now after my mom's diagnosis is participate in all the breast cancer research support groups. It makes me feel really good to know that money I donate or activities I participate in go towards helping others who are not as fortuneate as my family. If there is anyone out there who agrees with me, support companies that donate money to breast cancer research. There are thousands out there! Tomboy Tools is one of the newest who hopes to donate over 100,000 to BC. Just wanted to share another way to help.
