Sending support to all in needI posted this on another thread but I think it deserves being said again
I will weep when you are weeping
When you laugh I'll laugh with you

What a sight for sore eyes. It's so good to see things the way they were when I first joined this forum. It was the sweet ladies and gentleman in this thread that kept me coming back.

I am so scared. My CT scan just came back and it says:
- evident interval increase in size and number of supraclavicular lymph nodes bilaterally, more pronounced on the left side. The appearance is worrisome for metastatic disease.
- There was a 2 cm pathologic appearing node in the right axillary region on the CT scan from November of 2007. This node is not included on today's examination so assessment for interval change cannot be made.
- CT scan of the chest is recommended, beginning at the mid cervical level.
I am so scared....
-
OH {{{{{DEB}}}}}
Me Too Hon!!!!
So lets give it to God!!!
Prayers Sweet Sister!!!!
I Love You, Puppy

Son of a bitch ... Deb ... I've been thinking about you all weekend. I feel like I've been punched in the stomach along with you. I just posted on the other thread looking for you.
I'm stunned and I just can't believe or accept this.
Okay ... it says "worrisome." So, I guess we can worry, but not panic. When is the next CT of your chest? And what can we do?
Oh geez ... I'm praying so hard right now... God watch over you and give you strength!!
love you and hug you,
Bren
-
Deb, I'm holding you in a tight hug........
Love you,
-
Oh Deb...I am right there with you holding your hand.
Damn this friggin disease and all the stress and anxiety it carries with it.
In my heart and prayers that all will be well...call your doctor and get a better explaination.
Love ya
Vickie

No, no, no Deb so so sorry...........Deb is your husband home.....your parents there????? You are not alone at home are you...........we are here it's just we can't physically hold you...........please keep us posted.........love Shokk
-
I am holding your hand, too! Yes, it is very scary but I know you can do this! Worrisome does not mean cancer! It means more tests!
-
Deb --------- CRAP! Not the word I wanted to use..... of course you're scared. I'm here for you - just call if you need to talk.
Many hugs and prayers
Liz

-
((((Deb))) .... I know you are scared, and I'm here if you want to talk. I've got your hand, and I'm praying like crazy.

You guys are the best! I am hanging in there. I have just had the worst feeling in the past 3 or 4 weeks. I just don't feel right. I think that scares me as much as the tests. I keep trying to put it off to the new exercise program....
ANyway, I am so glad to find out that the doc that is covering for my PCP who is on vacation is a guy I know well...and a good doc too boot
He asked me what would make ME the most comfortable...
1. wait and rescan in a few months
2. core biopsy one of the nodes
3. surgical biopsy of one of the nodes.
I chose door number three. I have another scan on Wednesday to show the rest of my chest and abdomen to compare to the one in November.
I also have an appointment on Thursday to meet the local surgeon for the biopsy consult.
Hopefully by this time next week (which sounds like a million years from now) I will have some real answers.
