hollyann, praying for your friend Marion and all the people at Ft Hood. Such a sad situation and really makes me angry. Would love some of that dark hot chocolate to go with the walnut pumkin bread I brought. ((((((((((((((Puppy))))))))))))))
Footie, thinking of you and sending you hugs.
hollyann, since you have lived in real haunted houses, you ought to come on the humor thread and chip in on writing the story of a haunted house for bc people, no matter what their stage. Its fun. Right now it is jondy, me, harley, and patoo. Would love to have you and anyone else that wants to chip in.
Just put another log on the fire.
-
Put a Log of peace and understanding on for all here
and others in need of comfort. Spar, I will take some walnut bread
and will enjoy your company. Puppy praying for you. God be with
You all.
-
Lets all circle up close to the fire and warm up. Lets lift our dear sisters up in prayer. Many have great needs. Our dear sister Saint is in the hosp. and needs a touch from the Lord.
We can all share our snacks and coffee or hot choc. Bless us...
-
Please put extra log on the fire please,
kbugmom can I share some goodies
and some hugs, Hot chocolate sounds
so good, God bless you all, Here is a
log of peace for you all.
-
I come here and read and see who needs extra prayer but don't often write. When I log in late most of you should be sleeping so while you get much needed rest there are some of us in other countries who keep the fire going and that jug on for coffee and think of you in our prayers. I hope your today (Thursday) was as peaceful as mine, its now Friday morning here.
Blessings to all

Neesie - I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing.
I have such fond memories of our Pinkstock experience. I'm sure Deb and CY greeted Fred with open arms, and that Deb was able to point him to the nearest porta-potty.
((((BIGHUGS))))

This is a notice for Hike for Breast Cancer
How To Give A Gift To The Hike For Breast Cancer And
Yourself At The Same Time
With mammograms under question now
Breast Cancer Research Is More Important Than Ever Before.
Finding resources to support good causes is hard work; fund-raising takes substantial time and effort. Organizations and individuals who depend on donations often rely on volunteers to help raise them.
Volunteers succeed because they personalize the cause and make it relevant to their friends and neighbors, often through simple and humble actions like standing outside in the cold ringing a bell.
City by city and block by block people give because they are compelled to support not only the larger cause but also the passion and conviction of the volunteer.
Alexandra, a great champion of this cause in Utah is hiking for breast cancer and needs to raise $10,000. What I have decided to do is donate 40% of the sale of my new CD, A CHRISTMAS GIFT for anyone who purchases this uplifting music CD.
In my mind this is a win-win situation for everyone. A great cause, an affordable donation, and a lovely CD to play for the holidays. Please visit http://dickpyatt.com to hear excerpts and details about "A Christmas Gift".
For the full story of this great hike, you can visit Alexandra's blog at http://www.hikeforbreastcancer.com/
Happy Holidays,
Dick Pyatt

We need a little decor

As we circle the wagons for the night,
I brought some extra blankets and hot
drinks, Deb come and join me and anyone
else. I put a log of comfort on for those in
need. Got some smores?
-
Foots ~ S'mores would be wonderful tonight. We have a raging blizzard going on here so it has been a marathon baking day. Tomorrow is forecast to be even worse so candy making is on the schdeule. If I can get out of my driveway tomorrow night, I'll bring lots of goodies to share! LOL, so keep the fire blazing and gather round.
Lisa ~ Your photos are gorgeous. Visited a Pointsettia nursery in your neck of the woods once and the visual has always stayed with me.
Spar ~ Got the fabric yesterday for the blankets. NOW to get them done! Will send photos when finished.
Warm wishes and gentle hugs to everyone here,
Nico

Hi Nico, I came to rest by the fire and think of all
