I was being examined, post-op after my skin-sparing mastectomy, which I had my nipple removed as well. Skin from my buttock was used to replace my own breast skin and nipple. My doc told me, after he did the second stage surgery and formed a new nipple and after I got it tattooed, and went for my next mammogram, they would say , okay let's do the other breast. I would be able to say, "Oh, I had a mastectomy on that side, and of course, they wouldn't bellieve me! After, I explain that it is just a newly formed, tattooed nipple....and they still didn't believe me, I could just say " Kiss my A--!!!" So, far, I haven't gone for the mammogram, but when it's time.....I can't wait for the reaction
