The Prayer for Protection
By James Dillet Freeman
The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches over us;
Wherever we are, God is!

Denise still has some decisions to make and more specialist
to see . The anuerysm is on a main artery in the right side of the brain 1-3% of these do bleed ( I am sure that is not the proper term sorry) If it does he said chances are that she would not make it to the hopital being in a main artery. He is sending her records to a specailist to see if she can so a coil ( the vessles running from the artery determine this) If she does not he can do a clip
this was the choice he was least optomistic about.
He also said she could do nothing , and watch it he said
many of his older patients opt for this (Denise is 47 I don't think that is old) He said that it is small.
He said the only sure thing about these are there is
nothing sure about them . Please keep her in your prayers
I so appreciate you all so very much , and I thank God
for your care and love you show everyday ~
hugs,
Carrie -

So much love right back atcha!
Denise
(aka deesie)
P.S. Don't stop praying...I think that is the only thing keeping my recent Dr. from harm! LOL -
Denise and Carrie,
How blessed you really are to have so many great friends here in our "virtual world", and I'm sure also surrounding you in person.
Just as a comment to help support you...my husband's Dad went through Cerebral Anuerysm surgery on the MCA, and everyone was amazed with how quickly he recovered and was able to leave the hospital. He's been great ever since!
As just a bit of help for you and Carrie (and anyone else)...an MRA is a magnetic resonance angiography. Also, CT Angiography (as well as other imaging) can be used to locate and determine the exact size of the cerebral aneurysm.
Here's also a brief article that can help answer some questions about cerebral anuerysm treatment: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=62227 Hope this info might lend a bit of help.
We all wish the best for you both. Sending more positive thoughts too!

Hi Ladies!
I wanted to let you know that I have an appt. at the Cleveland Clinic on Oct. 18th. I'm very happy about it and can't thank you all enough. You are all forever in my prayers.
Love,
Denise -
Deese,
You are surely welcome! I know how much the research I did for my own situation helped me know what to expect (or demand!). It actually made me so much calmer about it all.
I just finished a year's worth of surgeries (6) and various procedures last Friday. Whew...only positive things to look forward to now...then I came home from the oncologist's office and did a breast check and found another lump close to where of my other tumor was. Sono done this past Monday looked "suspicious" to them--so MRI scheduled for this coming Sunday. Urrrgh. I just finished everything!
At least if they decide to do another surgical biopsy (recon implant too close to do core or needle), I know what to expect--as well as any potential treatment for recurrence. It just makes me upset that they have to cut into my cute new booby!
I'll be keeping you close in mind and thought, and truly wishing for the best outcome for you with all that you're dealing with. Keep as positive as possible--you seem to do that well!
I'll put in a special word for you with God when I speak with Him next!
All the best for you,
Renee -
