Q: How many women with MENOPAUSE or PMS, does it take to change a
light bulb?

A: One! ONLY ONE!!! ! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in
this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb
is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured
it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL ! ! .

Yes you made me laugh and I am having such a bad day!!!

Read an awful lot of your blog spot I was really interested though it almost feels like prying into your diary - but permission has been given.

I am sorry for all you are going through and you are very brave and articulate. As I read backwards I discovered your career as a reporter. What a challenging, tough task you had which must have stocked you up in strength and bravery for what was to come.

It is not myself who has cancer it`s my daughter Sarah I am sure we have communicated before but the thing about this blog spot I suddenly see so much of the person behind the cancer. I am sure I am on the board with such amazing people and we could have a lot of interesting conversations and sometimes we do but the C word casts a shadow mostly.

I am carrying a lot at the moment like those soldiers you talked about I must put it down and as a Christian (offer it in prayer).

I am ging to try and start my own blogspot and hope it won`t be too complicated.

Bless you and thankyou for sharing you took me out of my world for twenty minutes and on a "bad day" that was a good thing - thinking of you.
