IBC Information Source

Hello All.
Shamefully, I admit, it's been quite a while since I've been here (we recently moved to Japan from NC and I just got busy with moving details). But, I have information on inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) and just wanted to share, even though I know someone has probably already posted this information here. I was reading the Stars and Stripes military newspaper source, and discovered this article on IBC. I was amazed that even a doc's helpline (by her own admission) had little or no knowledge of the disease, and I was therefore inspired to forward this Website source on to my fellows BC patrons, in order to facilitate awareness of IBC amongst our fellow human beings.
The information comes out of Washington state from a reporter named Michelle Esteban of KOMO-TV in Seattle. She interviewed IBC survivors and the family members of its victims. If you are afforded the opportunity, please visit the site and forward the info on to others.
The site's access information is as follows: www.komotv.com; find the "Search" box and type in "Inflammatory Breast Cancer" and read the related articles that come up as hits, as well as view the video taped information. Also, I am taking a copy of the online article, as well as a copy of the Stars and Stripes newspaper article to my surgeon in a couple of weeks.
Warm and well wishes to all...I'm outta here for now! Happy 4th of July 2006!!! Smooches...
