Looking for REEEEALY big sports bras
44 EEE sized ones to be exact. I'd like to wear something other than my medieval underwire torture device to bed at night but I can't find anyplace that sells sports bras big enough for me.

Oooh, the board ate my post! Let me try again.
I'm an abundant girl, too (FF/G cup range) so I can relate. The best source I know of is Big Girls' Bras at:
http://www.biggerbras.com
They have all SORTS of stuff, from regular bras to sports and leisure bras, to medical compression bras. Amazing! This is the link to their sports bra page:
http://www.biggerbras.com/sports-bra-enell-sports-bra-plus-size-sports-full-figured-sports-bra.shtml
Also, Just My Size has larger size bras. Goddess and Glamorise have big cup sizes. I found a Goddess microfiber leisure bra in cup size H, just to give you an idea. Try:
http://www.jms.com
In the past, Goddess brand used to run slightly small in the cup size, but that may no longer be true.
Best of success to you!

I want to add, if you can, order several sizes and styles. You probably already know well that not all bras are created equal (I keep wondering who it is who thinks my breasts are shaped like flying saucers jutting out weirdly from my chest). I ordered 3 bras from Just My Size before my surgery and only one ended up being a possibility; I immediately returned the rest.

Hi Lauri!
You may have already found the bra you're looking for, but I wanted to recommend the Un-Bra by Decent Exposures (www.decentexposures.com). Perfect for sleeping in! -
Lauri - This mfg may already be ref'd in posts above, but Oprah re-ran her fitness update w/Bob Greene earlier this week. They talked about sports bras for larger sizes (D's and up)... there's one she swore by. Can't remember the name, sorry, but maybe worth checking out her website?? Good luck.

Enell.com sells directly (and they're the ones Oprah talks about). And they have the best sports bras I've ever worn. Absolutely no bounce!
They use their own sizing scheme (00 - 8), and should be able to fit you! (Tney will custom make if you don't fit in one of their standard sizes.) Their Standard sizes can fit up to a 60" bustline and a 53" ribcage--you'll want to compare your measurements with their chart to see if you can wear one of their standard sizes, or if you need to have a custom one made. If you decide to get one, be sure to read the info on sizing & fit below the size chart. They really are unlike other bras, and you'll want to read their "instructions."
Standard colors are beige, white, black & pink. If you decide to go for a custom one, you can get interesting colorblocking done as well: Here's a couple of pictures from their website:
I've worn them pre-BC and will be going back to them shortly (I had lumpectomy & SNB on May 2nd). Saw my surgeon on Tuesday and no more restrictions! I just looked at their site and see that at least one breast surgeon "issues" them in-lieu-of compression garments (be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page).
HTH,
LisaAlissa
