Living Downstream and Having Faith, both by Sandra Steingraber, are excellent books, scientifically linking the environment to cancer. She is a Harvard scientist who suffered bladder cancer as a 20 y.o. She later found dry cleaning chemicals in the drinking water. The books are critically important. Also, check out the breast cancer fund in san fran. They have the recent reporton bc and toxics.
