mema ,they don't reccomend the shingles vaccine to anyone while they are undergoing chemo or rads because your immune system is supressed so it would be worth asking at your next appointment when they reccomend you do get it,have a good day everybody.   going for a nap as neighbours woke me up at 3am this morning. but good news at the pcp,bloodwork and visits now 6 monthly

Sorry girls,no time to respond to all previous posts. Busy as you might expect here. LORI-It is a drive by,lol. I have my sister and friend taking care of me since DH works. I'll have my brother send you a message on Facebook when i'm done. My surgery is scheduled for 9:45 but could be bumped if an emergency occurs(like last time). I think it takes 2/12 hrs. Ok gotta run,bbl.

Cool mango dwinks, Lori and NM! I did get some more this ayem, so have been having super ripe mangos every day, plus papayas the first couple of days. When we fly to Hilo next wk, they usually have really good ripe papayas for low prices.

Lori, This lanai is concrete and so well reinforced, I think we could all be on it and PARTAY de night away!!! But I know some are dinky, so understand your comment! I really did picture you all with me while swimming yesterday. Hmmmm....cud be why people looked at me funny?? Nah....jest kidding.

My youngest DD got Shingles a couple of months after her daddy died. We were under such stress, and she really didn't cry or let her emotions out, so I think thats why it hit her that way. She was just 14, but her immune system has always seemed compromised...she always got strep, and some weird ailments. BUT thanks NM so much about the info on giving someone chickenpox if they have not had the vaccine, for 21 days after you get the injection. Love your description of your caribbean experience, NM!

love the watermelon vodka orange,a good exercises when drinking is to put the pitcher of the beverage of your choice across the room so everytime you get up for a drink,your exercising ,getting ready for shannons party.   bernie,everytime i talk to someone from home,they are so fed up with all the rain but at least they finally removed the hospipes ban

Isn't it neat that our dear Bernie lives in Ireland, Orange? I got to MEET HER at Kilkenny Castle which is not far from her home. It was so awesome...Bernie and her DH are fantastic, and I loved the time I got to spend with Bernie, so much! Was the highlight of our trip in Nov. But Ireland is sooooo beautiful and sooooo green (duh, all that rain!), that it is def on my list of places to return to.

OMG Bernie, I have to send that to my dad....Alcoholics-Unanimous....love it! How is dear Calva? Eating you out of house-and-home? Such a big furbabie!!!

I'm hoping your meeting went great! So glad you sound like you are feeling good

for Orange! Hope the hospice work opens up, you would be fantastic, but then really at anything you do you are fantastic. Just hope you get what makes you happy. Oh, yikes at your push mower
and the riding one not working, sounds so hard! I have been out liming trees
with a pole pruner and it is so hard. We hava chain saw but I have never used
it before and it's so heavy I don't think I could. You are ALWAYS in my prays,

Well shoot I wanted to jest crawl off somewhere and bawl mese eyes out. Today all the chit hit the fan! THought stepbro had set a def date for the movers to come on the 23rd.Thats how it sounded to me when he set up the mover assessment, and move date. We were basing everything on that date. When I called today to verify,they said it is the 25th, which is the day I leave. Only other day they had is the 18th, but we are going to the Big Island 17-19. ARRRRGGGHHH....talk about stuck betwn a rock and a hard place. I am only here to help them move, and no way could I leave before the movers are done. I was sick to my stomach. I don't know why  stepbro won't admit we had a miscommunication...he was so defensive. He FINALLY got hold of another moving co, and they came today to assess, and will move on the 24th. WHEW!!! What a nightmare....there didn't seem to be any options. So tomorrow we'll take stuff to the condo on other side of the island. We are all soooooo stressed! He keeps inviting more neighbors to the big party!!! Sawrry all the me, me, me, chat, but OMG this is unfricking believable sometimes. Working our butts off, then when a wrench is thrown in, it just is hard to deal with.
