So glad you are back Dee...you don't know how much we missed you here!!!
Lori, Don't know how you are able to answer all the posts, but glad you are able to do that. I keep meaning to read back all those PAGES, but haven't had time to do that yet. Even though your winnings weren't as much as we first thought, it is STILL fun to win!!! YAY!!!!
Stanzie, OMG....another chipmunk! Yikes!!!! Hope your friends dau is better and you enjoyed some of your time there.
Kitty, how many days till NYC??? Hope you can post a pic of the wedding party....bet it will be so fantastic! You are so beautiful, and really hoping you will feel ok for the wedding.
I got sick yesterday (maybe from that beotch that sat next to me and coughed, sneezed and blew her nose for 13 hrs....ya think???)....have g'kids today so trying not to give them any germs. Really feel like going to bed and staying there, but DH does not always watch the kids like he thinks he is doing!

When I try to post a picture all I get is an empty box. Started happening a couple weeks ago, probably the fault of an update or something. Pretty soon I'll do a restore and see if I can get the pic's thing back.
Home from clinical and bushed. I was on my feet and going from 7 am to 11 am, by 11:30 I was starting to get teh back ache, the belly pulling and soooo tired. My brain wants to shut down. I'm trying to keep it going for a few more hours so I can go to bed early and sleep hard until the alarm goes off at 4 am tomorrow am.
Pants, dear, please bring me a BIG pitcher of Night Cap. I'll be in the hot tub boiling the aches and stiffness out.

Sometimes I hate computers. Last night my 14 yo DD tried to reinstall something on her Mac and wiped out all her files. No backup of course. Many tears. And she can't even have dog beers.
-
Lori, that is my grandaughter posted above. She can party!
-
awwwww HD...your granddau is sooooo precious! Nice to know that was not a random photo. And I bet she listens better than some of our grandkids...LOL. I have all my Aussie pics on this laptop, and for some reason am having a heck of a time putting them on a CD so I can upload them into my desktop. AARRGGHHH computers! AStorm so sorry to hear about your DD losing all her files...that really sucks big time!
Still tired, but felt like happy hour was essential...Suck 'Em Up Gals!!!!!

Sure would like some beer to go with these nutz!
-
Dee, I will share my beer. There is still some left in Junies bucket. I know she won't mind! Hugs to all....HD
-
LMAO Dee...just hope that critter doesn't hide those nuts in my attic!
-
I used to have my laundry machines in a shed. After I moved the dryer made a funny noise and wouldn't tumble so I called a repairman. After waiting around for him for 4 hours I thought I'd start the job for him so that I could get back to work. When I took the backoff the machine, it was full of NUTS! So I cleaned it out, put a belt back on and was replacing the back when the doorbell rang... told the repairman he was late and I had to go back to work now.
-
Oh my gosh!!!! I only have a second to check but saw the chipmunk and about fell off the bed!!! Funny part is I'm with my friend who helped find the one in the curtains!!!! Thanks! Will post and read more when I have more time..... Thanks !
-
I have chemo tomorrow and we go to NYC on Thursday.
-
Hey, Kitty, goodluck for tomorrow hope you're feeling okay for your trip to NYC for the wedding.
Love n hugs. chrissy
-
Good luck Kitty, wishing you all the best!
Today I think we should have a drink to pay good riddance to rodents. Some of us have had squirrels and some chipmunks, in either case let's have a pink squirrel DOTD (couldn't find a chipmunk drink)
Have a chipy day!
Ingredients for a Pink SquirrelCreme De NoyauxCreme De CacaoLight CreamQuantities for one drink:1 oz Creme de Noyaux1 Tblsp White Creme de Cacao1 Tblsp Light CreamBlending Instructions:Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve -
Kitty, Good luck today with your chemo! And hope you are all packed for your BIG trip on Thursday (don't do like I do and pack at the last minute....I always take waaaaay too much!).
Good drink Dee...sounds like a yummy dessert!!! I'll take a pink squirrel anytime, over our attic squirrels. With having our entire chimney rebuilt in August, HOPEFULLY we won't have any more critters. Wish Stanzie could figure out how to keep those chipmunks OUT of her house....not fun at all to find!
Chip,Chip,Chipy day to all......and CHAIRS!

Astorm, I am hoping it wasn't important information she lost, yikes!
HD, your grand daughter is a doll.............could she get me a beer please!
Safe travels Miss Kitty.....I hope you able to have a blast. But somehow, I just think you will!

I remember making Pink Squirels one time--sooooo good! I want lots and lots and lots to sip on while I get a massage. . .
-
I couldn't stand the taste of one of my favorite beers (Bud Light Lime) while on chemo. It was a happy day when I tried one and could taste it again!
And if I wanted full-calorie beer, the Blue Moon seemed to always taste just fine.
-
NM, Great idea to have a massage....I'll join you if both Pants and Jocks are available!
Welcome to Googs....I enjoy having an icy cold Blue Moon also. Right now, its pau hana time, so Seagrams/Diet Coke for me!!!
Lots of barstools and lounge chairs available....let's have a rocking Pau Hana!!!!!

Could I take up a barstool and have a Pink Squirrel? My TE's are causing me pain this eve and I need something to get me comfortably numb.
Thanks to all, I found this thread when I could barely lift myself up from the bed after prophy mast, TE's and ooph...you girls are the best!
-
Welcome, lulubelle! I've got a barstool right here and a pink squirrel with your name on it.
-
Oooohhhhhhh...more new girlfriends to drink with! Welcome Googs and lulu! Lots of fun here at The HTL.....if you stick around that is! The HTL (Hot Tatties Lounge) I don't have time to explain, but will certainly have a pink squirrel with ya's.
Lulu, ya might want to dip your cup in the percotini fountain. It's a good one for pain!
