Lynn \l(y)-nn\ as a girl's name (also used as boy's name Lynn), is pronounced lin. It is of English origin. Variant of Flann (Irish, Gaelic) "ruddy-complected". The surname is also possibly of Old English and Gaelic origin, meaning "lake", "waterfall" or "pool", and probably would have been given to a family living near such a body of water. Sometimes used as a diminutive of Linda (Spanish) "pretty". Used especially as a middle name and as a feminine beginning or ending in many name blends, such as Kaylyn and Lynlee.
Lynn has 17 variant forms: Lin, Linell, Linn, Linnell, Lyn, Lynae, Lyndel, Lyndell, Lynell, Lynelle, Lynette, Lynlee, Lynley, Lynna, Lynne, Lynnelle and Lynnett.
For more information, see also related names Ashlynn, Brandilyn, Bryn, Brynn, Evelyn, Mandoline, Marilyn, Marlin, Rosalyn and Madeline.
Ok so it’s official – Marlin.Blend of Mary (Latin) "star of the sea" and Lynn (Spanish) "pretty".
Skeletor is progressing well.
Myself and DH said we would purchaaaaase the pram. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THEY COST?
My mum was a tailoress. Specialised in wedding and bridesmaid dresses. By the time me and my sister married her eyesight was not too good so we bought our dresses. But she did turn my sisters wedding dress into a christening gown. So lovely that it will always be in the family.

We're a screwy group here m=nite workers, work during sun hrs.-work from home all hrs. and those not working. Oh Julie said we might hear from her on Friday, I hope with some pics, but that might be late Thursday here or early Sat, here IDK--we'll just have to wait.
Lara with all the scary movies we watch, I would bet this house is haunted--there are so many big noises during the night expecially, but the cat and dog go in all rooms so I'm really not worried, Right?????
My first GM and I'll be back later.

Oh, my, so much going on with so many Loungettes! Having trouble keeping track without my cheat system! Praying for everyone.

CynCyn--I don't know what the new work lap top has, I'm not allowed to have Word or Excell, just the medical record soft ware and the company secure e-mail. Still doing the bulk of the case management work on paper. We are getting a new and improved medical record system, in Dec of 2014.
Love the Don't Care Partay!

Karen I'm so sorry, it's always sad, but special days are harder I know.
-
Kathy, I hope you can keep on her to get that report. Maybe you could tell her she could have it sent to your house, if she doesn’t want to see it, or maybe you could go with her to pick it up, or she could call and tell them that she is giving you permission to pick it up, I don’t know, just throwing some things out there. Can’t wait for all of you girls to be together in TX. Cami and her sister ARE a hoot for sure, could you imagine if her sister joined us??? I saw the “Twin Peaks” episode. Gheesh!
So cute about us hiding in the bouquet and cake at Chrissy’s DD’s wedding. It was SOOOOO much fun and Chrissy, that really was cutting it close, wowsa. But such a beautiful wedding. Now, will you get some more beautiful grand babies out of the beautiful couple?
Funny about Moler Boy being at the wedding in OZ. Look out Chrissy! And I hope your dad doesn’t really believe your mom Dorkable. My heart goes out to both of them.
Lara, I sure hope you win that lawsuit, have you started anything yet? And I certainly hope you don’t end up going through as much as Dorothy has. Have you started any of it yet? Are you going to at least try the new pill and cream?
I think I saw Becks with your red boots.
Cami, day time temps in the 70’s for camping and riding are poyfect, it’s the night time ones that keep changing, one night is now reaching to low 40’s, that’s getting a little nippy. We got sleeping bags rated for like 30 degrees or maybe 35. I didn’t even look at the ingredients of that drink, looks like mostly different gins and vermouth with some oregano. And nothing you write is nonsense, NOTHING! Glad you like your sweet primary doc.
DorK, how sweet for your sister to set the cards up for you, would love to see a picture. Your poor tummy and poor, poor, poor……..not even sure what to call them. Your poor chest! You poor girl! I so wish I could be there to help you. I would at least go after those stank bugs. That doc sure had his nerve to tell you that you didn’t need to be drained and then to tell his nurse otherwise. And OMG, you sister having a stroke and your BIL with shingles. Girl, you sure are right when you say you and your family just can not catch a break. As for the government peeps and not getting paid, you can bet your pink baboon a$$ the Pres is getting his paycheck……………don’t get me started!!!!
Lynne, dat funny about the drawings with your idea and his for incisions. We wanna see. Who won? Or is this for upcoming soygery? Don’t feel bad about getting in trouble here, you are not alone. And that is all I will say on dat! Love the “baboon” color! LMAO. No show from your chemo nurses? All of them? Now that is NOT RIGHT.
WHAT……..3 more pages to go! Don’t you girls ever sleep!
Oh, mostly a party! And a goot one at dat. Love the pics SewWhat sent to the udder thread.
Cyn, I think Canada only warm for one week a year! As for the maters, did 16 pints yesterday! Think Imma gonna spray round up on de rest!
Bernie, how neet that your sister’s gown was made into a Christening gown, will Sineads little one be wearing it? LOL at the swollen man part.
NM, if you can help it, DON’T get Windows 8!
Think I’m locking de doors! Dang, you are a wild bunch o women.
DOTD...............a fifth of your favorite!
-
Karen, meant to wish both of your folks a Happy Birthday. Just sorry it's so hard for you and your mom. ((((KAREN)))))
-
((((Karen)))) these days are the hardest!
Did you say you have a camel toe Cami Legal?
Gotta run to work!!!
Love, love
XoxoxoxoxoDortydroppedkidsatpoolyay!!!!!!!! -
Becs either u read to fast or I type so poorly--the 2nd is prlly the one---I think I said camel day--Wed-nes=day right?
Lori I hve to laugh at what u said about the federal non-working time--when u said don't get me started---well of course I got started yesterday, I swear I'm going to be arrested soonly, u'll all have to write letters telling them I'm harmless and not to bright. hahaha Oh when I was with my brothers the other night my sister mentioned how much I write to the Governor and my one brother was laughing and said u don't mention my name do u??? I said of course not--but I didn't remind him I took my maiden name back a long time ago so his last name is mentioned but that doesnt mean we're related. He'd have a fit.LOL
-
LMAO Cami, You are such a hoot! How funny that your bro's last name IS mentioned, since it is your last name too.Sux that the pres and congress get paid (too much!) and had to shut down the govt. Well I haven't seen the news yet today, so not up on the latest yet. You keep up with your letter writing...more of us need to stand up for things we believe in...I'm too chicken!
Sad day, Karen...my heart goes out to you and your mom. My late DH's bday was just 3 wks before mine, and we were the same age when he died at 41. Used to always rib him to the hilt and hope he wouldn't do it when my bday came around! Even had a fake tombstone, webs, dead flowers, etc when he turned 30. LUCKILY he didn't do the same for me, 3 wks later, but instead took me to a beautiful dinner in a restored train car and proposed (my last 2 proposals were in train cars!). SO what would have been his first bday after he passed was so hard on me...well duh it all was unbelievably hard....but for me to turn a yr older and he didn't, well that was just not right. So I really do feel sad for you all.
NM, It IS hard keeping up without a cheat sheet!!!
Bernie, Love "Marlin" for Lynne....what do you think Lynne? OR "sewwhat" like someone else wrote (other pg, and can't remember). Is Skeletor a girl or a boy? As a "pram" is that what we in the US call a stroller? Or is it more like a cradle? All of it is expensive, even more so now with all the regulations. Don't know how we all survived with cribs with wide spaces between the bars, etc. Bars....ok we started out drinking....thats our problems right there! lol.
Cami, you DID write Camel Day, but I was thinking Camel Toe too. Had an episode of the Kardasians where Khloe was talking about her LARGE camel toe...apparently she has large labia and was talking on tv about it!! LOL.
Dorkie, How you doing today girl? Feel so badly for all that is going on with you and your family.
I hope to get some R-E-L-I-E-F (is dat how its spelled? lol) today at de new spine soigeon...well don't want soigury but hoping he has some good ideas to help my back. Haven't had imaging for a few years, so that would be good if he orders that, to know how it looks now. Thinking of getting poked (anyone still have any of those long thin voodoo needles left over?)....accupuncture....but want to see exactacrackaly where the degeneration is, and if he thinks it would help.
Okey Dokey....Happy Camel Day, Happy Hump Dey, Happy Camel Toe day (NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!)...
Ewwwwwwwwwww......
-
Please forgive my intrusion my ladies...
Will there be more drink orders for tonight? I need to restock the bar.
Miss 4, what will you desire for the evening?
Awaiting your orders

Karen, my darling, grief is the one emotion known of us are adequately equipped to deal with. Different for each and every one of us.
Take the time with your mum to talk and remember the love and good memories.
My mum and dad are in a special place in my heart. I let them out every now and then and enjoy the memories.
