DorK....Lots goings on at your place in joisey...are you serious about not drinking beer in decades?? Wow....well, guess its not for everyone. Have fun mobin your house all around.
Kath..Im glad Glenn decided not to go away...sounds like staying home a while and resting is a good idea.
NM..awesome job with all the names. Its not easy to remember everyone's alias's.
Julie...no eye candy for me??
Or are you thinking I had a whole summer of eye candy and I dont need anymore??
Lara...I will have to look up that diet. It doesnt sound like fun tho..but then I think..I can do 3 days..right?
Nice to see you too Lori..when do you see dr again? Thats really expensive med..wow..you should look up those discounts Kathy mentioned.

Wow..Julie...I actually think I know that girl...she looks alot like a friend of mine up in Maine...kind of shocked me for a second...lol.
-
Actually I was wondering that too....why you didn't have some eyecandy to look at Cyn...but Julie came through! Funny that she looks familiar though!
Neat chit in your cave Dorkie. I see your two Chippendale glasses have the place of honor!
And BTW I DID mention the farting termites during Happy Hour! LOL.
Cheers Dears!!!

Good morning, Loungettes! It's Monday! Can you tell I'm trying to psych myself up for a rainy Monday? I'll be fine as soon as I get my first cup of coffee into me.
Wahine--Good for you for trying the Root Beer Float dwinky, even if you didn't like it. Trying new things is good for us! I remember being told to refer to patients by name, too, but now a days with HIPPA rules you can't safely do that any more. That's protected information. About the only thing you can use is the room number. It's really a shame how much legislation meant to protect patients has come to depersonalize them. And yeah, If I don't keep a score card I get lost! Move ovah, deah, I got my plate and need a place to sit and eat. . .
Goldie--it doesn't take long to get 4 pages behind, here! Wow, you have been busy! Too bad the former doc's office is dragging feet sending info to the new GI. And the Hummer is GEORGEOUS!
ORLA--That military diet looks interesting. Not sure I could do without coffee. Actually, I know I can't do without coffee. I'm a caffeine addict and admit it!
Cammy--having someone like your BIL is a real gift! So good you have someone like that around, even if he is a bit of a PITA. So glad you had a good time at the buffet and fireworks. It's so important to have some good times and fun. And I can just picture Joey as the star of the show!
Becs--Hmm, days of the week. Let's see how I do from memory:
Monday is Monkey Day
Tuesday is Twofer Day (2 of everything)
Wednesday is Hump Day
Thursday is Thirst day
Friday is Fried Day
Saturday is Sat TURD day
Sunday is Fun Day
Did I get it right??????
DorKable--Hang in there, is your Dad coming for another visit?
Wahine--termite farts causing global warming? Oh, my, we are doomed! Labs/Retrievers are No. 7? All this time I thought is was just Sadie with the stinkies. Thank goodness I don't have 2 of them!
DorKable--NICE woman cave!
CynCyn--I haven't drunk beer is decades, either! Actually, I don’t like the taste of beer, so I just don't drink it. And you are very lucky to never get hung over! I've been hung over a couple of times and it is NOT fun. Enough to keep me from drinking very much while I was in college.
Gotta love Maxine! She says it like it is! Can you imagine Maxine and Aunty Acid getting together for coffee????????
Mrs. Vino--medicinal willie, huh? Must have been good stuff, you lost a day! OK, I've updated my master list with Tanya as one of your aliases.
Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD:
The Flying Monkey
2 oz St George Terroir Gin
1/2 lime, squeezed
Rounded teaspoon of orange marmalade
St. George Absinthe rinse
Shake with ice and 5 sage leaves. Strain into coupe. Garnish with a sage leaf.
-
DD#2 is on her way home!!! Can't wait to give her a great big HUG!!! Time to jump in the shower, go for a walk...then have a couple things to do in th house before I need to leave to pick her up....flight gets in around 10ish....just 3 hours from now!!!! Did I say I can't wait to see her!!!
Have a great Monday!!!
-
Karen so u'r DD is coming home today, I hope u'r excited to see her.
Oh NM is that all by memory--U'r good----and the DOTD sounds good today--I hope u have a good day.
-
Darn it NM, I didn't know they can't refer to pts with their names! Stoooopid rules for sure! Esp since you have to keep asking the pt their name and comparing it to their wristband. WEIRD! Thanks for telling me that, I wasn't aware of it. OH and that military strict diet Lara went on DOES allow coffee but NO cream or sugah. Right now I am ENJOYING my coffee with yummy hazelnut cream....used to drink it black till we went to OZ yrs ago and discovered the Gloria Jean's Coffeehouses. Never had been to Starbucks before that, but Gloria Jean's got me hooked on adding cream. Would be hard to go back now to just black coffee. Dorkie's dad moved, and has been living with Dork "temporarily" till a room opened up, but now it might be permanent?YES you got the days right!!! Great memory! And good thing Alli mentioned being Tanya too; I had forgotten that name also Because ALLISON has been MIA toooooooo long. Hmmmm....interesting DOTD with orange marmalade! Will have the Tenders make that up for us.....
Karen, I know how happy you are to get her back!!!
Oh Alli, I have never smoked good Willie....so never understood the hype...but now it sounds GOOD...hmmmmmmm....maybe someday?
Oh Julie, Aug 4-7 sure will be hard days for you. Will keep you in my prayers, as well as your friends family. Aug 6 will be interesting here too, as my DD2 and my DH both have important specialist dr visits. Not sure when my DD1 will have more info on surgery, etc. Remind us as those days get closer, ok? We can pray even more, plus can get on the UFO if you want us there.
Hoping you are doing well on Dexilant, Lori. One thing I like about it, is you can take it WHENEVER, not like the others you have to take 30 min before you eat, etc. Dexilant is much easier to take, because of that. AND it works. Just no generic yet, so do get that free savings card. I just realized we get the GoldFinch's year round...in winter they look brown! And the brilliant yellow ones (SO gorgeous) are the males, duh...the females are less brilliant. So maybe it was a female you saw before? I sent my dad your hummie video, as they FINALLY put up their feeder, but so far just get 2-3, and the ruby-throats. You get so many!!!!
Hope everyone will have a good MONKEY DEY!!!!!! Cheers, No Fears!!!!
Hugssssssssssssssssssss,
Kathy

OK, is this a test to see if we are truly awake??? When I saw your post behind mine I just posted, I thought WTH??? But then saw it was a double post. Did I pass the test?? See, I didn't have any willie....lol. Anyway, your posts are THE BEST, so getting it twice is twice as nice!!!!
-
Oh, wahine-you are too quick for me! I was trying to post a NEW post and got a repeat of the old one!
Went to head to work, turned on the car, it squealed and smoked and went clunk. I backed it out of the garage and the power steering died. It is now sitting in my driveway waiting for the guy from the garage who will be along in a while, after another job. I called out from work, am going to wait and see how long this will take to get fixed, if not long I will just take some of my PTO. Cheaper than renting another car!
-
All caught up, finally. Wowsa what a party you girls had, and what a party I missed L.
Sue, did you find a Willie thread?
Was interesting reading how everyone has different experiences when being put out! Beckers, loved your story about being told to put your knees down! I used to wake up throwing up and with the shakes, but that hasn’t happened in a LONG time, thank gooness.
Allikins………………YAY!!!! And my DH would love to have that plate of White Castle’s, it’s his fave. And oh yeah, you be Tanya, I foygot dat one too.
Bernie, congrats to Sinead……………wishing her and baby all the best! LMAO at the Vets getting measured!
Welcome Maiziel!
Ahhhhh Kat, you didn’t like the drink with the ice cream in it? I hope you didn’t waste too much alcohmahol.
Dork, you cwacking mese up goilie, I so happy to sees you. And mese luvs you cave.
NM, awesome job on all of our names, but can think of 2 you foygot. Me “The Innocent One” and/or Lowee (what Mema calls me) and Mema as “Pwoud Mary”. Wow, and you did the days of the week.
Kathy, my insurance should pay for all of the Dex, he gave me the 60 mg. Love all of the farting creatures, funny. The Ruby Throats are one of the hummers that we do NOT have here, they are only in the eastern states, and the males of all birds are the prettier of the two. I have been keeping track of how much sugar I am going through, so far 50 lbs!
Cami, I do love nature and you too are sweet, don’t make me get Dork’s peeps after you. How sweet of your BIL to be so caring towards you. And I can see Joey waiting on everyone and them gloating all over him.
Cyn, I see the doc (maybe) after I take the Dex for a month, to see if it helps.
Wow Julie, you have a full week!
Ok, I am running WAY behind, sorry if I’m bumping anyone in the pewl. NM, I sawry you car pooped out on you, hope it isn’t too painful on your pocket book!
CHEERZ
-
OH NO! That sux. Never a good time to have a car breakdown. Hope it won't be too much $$$, and hope they can fix it SOONLIEST!!!!!! (Maybe Alli will share some of that good willie so you can relax while they work on your car???). Funny that I saw your post b4 you deleted it!!!
-
OOPS bumped you into de pewl, "Innocent One" (I had forgotten those names too!)...but I know the Tenders will rescue you (but they might not be so "innocent"!). Awesome if your insurance pays for all the Dexilant, as its an expensive med. WUNNERFUL!!!!! Here is a Duck Fart since I bumped ya.... *handing Miss Innocent a Farting Duck*.... (Funny the list of farting creatures didn't include a duck, or did I miss that one?)

I
Good morning goils!
Lowrie, so good to see you too! It's Miller Time, wooo hoooo!
I also cracked up at Beckers flashing from the gurney tehehe.
So its been a week since I stopped de tammy and started arimidex. The hot flashes do seem better but I tink I am having some leg pains already, dern it. Yesterday when I woke up and started to walk I thought to my self "darn self, what on earth did I do yesterday to make mese legs so achey"? Den mese bremembared, must be de FNRb dwug ugh!
My sister and niece came over yesterday and pulled everything out of my third bedroom. I am hoping to get it painted and get Dad moved in this week and give my DD her room back! Anywho, me needs to buy de book called "someone moved mese cheese" cause I feel like mese world being turned sideways.
Hiya Katwinka, good morning! I will have to jump back a page to see what else happening in here.
Cheers girls!
-
It must be so discombobulating to have your house turned upside down, BUT on the bright side, you have HELPERS and that is great. I know they did a good job. Will they help paint too? What color are you thinking of? I know....Becks flashing from the gurney...soooooo funneeeeee!
Decided to go to Outback for lunch today....if anyone goes there today, just mention "Ryan Newman" as he won a big race, and you get the Bloomin Onion for free, today only. WooHoo....calories galore!! lol. But need to go out anyway as printer ran out of ink just as DH needed me to make some copies.
Hugs and Chugs of Bier! (MIght try some Aussie bier twodey),

.becks you made me laugh at the flashing! i am taking alittle longer to wake up each time, 1st time i was waking up as they took me out of the or, on the 4th time i was in recovery 10 mins before i'm awake, its funny,i have no memory of being half awake ,its full awake and the first thing i do is look at a clock. never no nausea or pain though,so they must be generous with something during or
