how about drinking?

I saw three very scary looking penises (is that how you spell the multiple, I have never had the ocassion of having to spell the multiple version?) lol
Red wine tonight too, but, Chianti, I love it so much with that stinky Parmigiano Reggiano, which I know our cheese queen and expert (Janis) doesn't like, but I can't help thinking it's like a perfect marriage (but would I know about a perfect marriage, lol) -
Aw, Christine, enjoy your parmesan - more for you since I don't like it! I do, however, like many other Italian cheeses! Let me know if you need a new reccommendation! And I don't like Chianti, either, but I do have a nice bottle of it should I ever have a guest over who does (I'm SUCH a good hostess!).

Oh Donna that is just f**k**g funny. Toenail fungus? Hope you didn't pick that up in Jamaica, I'll be paranoid! Marsha
-
Donna - I had toenail fungus year ago when Lamisil was just coming out. My doctor had me use fungoid tincture three times a day. Scraped the top of the nail with a pumice stone and then brushed on. After about 6 months it was gone. Itchier than heck the whole time and UGLY, but no liver or drinking issues.

Ok I just showed my hubby the avitar and he saye dit looked like smiled dick heads and laughed. said we should all like that! I do, Don't change it I think it's great!
OK Here's a toast to RVGIRL, Don't drink if you don't want to but we sure the hell are not going to stop! Cheers!
Ok have to get off the lights are flickering -
What - no drinking going on??? I worked late last night and one small scotch did me in and since I work early tomorrow morning I can only drink a little bit tonight.
BUT I have a date tomorrow night - YEA! I met him once before a few months ago and was too scared to do what I wanted to do but I'm not scared anymore so I think at least one of us is going to get lucky!
Cheers!
Janis L -
Well the night after tomorrow night, open a bottle of wine and do come back and tell!
I'm drinking Blue Moon Beer with an orange slice...don't ask me, a friend brought it over NYE and it kinda grew on m......Marsha -
I popped on here the other night but it look too quite for me so I went to bed. too tired again tonight so think I'm gonig to make one more round then off to bed with me
Cheers! -
I have got to cut down on the drinking. You'll notice that I did't say stop. I can't drop any weight and I know it is from excess alcohol consumption. I hearby vow to only have one glass of wine with dinner and one Martini or Manhattan on Fri., Sat. and Sun. nights. No going back for seconds!! Unless, of course, I am at a party.
-
Well i'm having an Ice Tea, sure wish it was a Long Island Ice Tea. This pretneding to be drinking sure gets boring!
Wonder how Janis is doing on her date?
Oh Vicki, are you having too much fun dancing with NED that you're forgetting your Drinking buddy's?
Congrats again! and CHEERS! -

Well, my date was everything I thought he'd be - and more! He was a little too large for me but better too big than too small! Wow. I definitely needed that! -
Large, where? Hopefully in the right part(s).
-
Wow, I never thought of but one thing that could be too large. I hope my mind is where it should be which is usually in the gutter.
Wow janis, you go girl.
Didnt drink last night but had my share of beer this weekend. blue moom and an orange slice, hmmm, would have never thought it and now thinking I might need to try it.
Amy -
Oh yeah, Janis, my wine glasses and Martini glasses are the extra large jumbo size . I think I CAN have just one!
-
Hey Donna, I got the toenail thing too, you don't need Lamasil, just get some pure tea tree oil and put it right along the nail as often as you can. It takes awhile to grow out but it works and the best part is you can still have the cocktails.
On another note, this whole cancer thing is just luck of the draw, I have never smoked, breastfed a really long time (I won't say how long), and was a moderate drinker off and on. Now I say whatever makes you happy do it!!!! A new wine bar and club are opening in the ski town where I live and I plaan to take full advantage and party. Take care everyone, thanks for making me laugh.
kim -
Hey Jan glad to hear your date was a HUGE success.
Had some pain yesterday so took percocet and xanax with a glass of beer. Left the glass of beer on the floor beside me and my dog drank it when I passed out. Hope she enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the meds. Marsha -
Marsha - that's funny! Wonder if your dog had a hangover the next day?
I'll try tea oil on my fungus feet. Anything that gives my liver a break is worth a shot!! (Pun intended)
Cheers!
Donna -
Oh, Donna, tea tree oil is the best stuff! It stinks but it's a wonder oil. It CAN keep bugs (mosquitoes) away and it's great for so many things. Buy the pure, good stuff.
Me, I'm drinkin' tonight! I don't think I'll see Mr. Huge again as I believe he's a bit of a player. Besides, he hasn't called! Oh well, it was a fun few hours!
In have a few other younger men interested in me (Mr. Naked in the Hot Tub is one of them!) so why sit around moping? If I didn't have such stooooopid work hours I'd have more time for all these young men!
My land line phone went out and for a while my broadband connection went out but thankfully it's back. Don't care about the lan line as I have a cell phone but I figure I'll have to get it fixed eventually. Maybe. As long as the computer and satellte dish work then who needs a phone? I get all my dates through the Internet anyway! -
fell like I've had way to may drinks so I'm off to bed, jus dropped in to say hello, WSo HELLO!
-
Hey Buds~
Just checking in (from work) as my home PC is in the shop, and I can only hope to get it back before the ice storm they are predicting here for the weekend, but I may have to go the entire weekend with no puter!
BUT - the good news is, I stocked up on wine the other night (immediately after hearing the forecast) so at least I'll have plenty to drink should I be stuck at home.
AND I got wood (firewood that is ) the other night so I can actually build a fire in my fireplace! I really missed the fireplace when I was in my apt.
I've got wine and wood, so guess I'm good!
Janis - keep us posted on all your young men. Is Chicago supposed to get ice too? If so, you may need a young man to help keep you warm.
Cheers,
Donna -
Donna,
I'm not sure about an ice storm??? I have to work all weekend so it really doesn't matter to me either way.
And, Cheryl, what is up? You driking or not? Maybe just a little? If the pills work, though, then just stick with them! I looooove Vicodin! I get all warm and tingly but it gives me insomnia and makes me constipated so I just save it for bad back pain.
Cheers!
Janis L -
Got my PC back already!
Yes, we're having a hell of an ice storm, which doesn't happen often here. Pretty much closes down the whole town.
But, I've got a fire going, coffee w/ Baileys and my man to stay warm.
Cheers!
Donna -
Is it OK to drink alchol while on the cmf treatment?
-
Donna - well, you go enjoy your man and alcohol and get off the dang computer! (I'm jealous - I'm horny, alone and have to go to work this afternoon!)
Cheers!

Check with your oncologist. Most say (but don't quote me!) that one drink occasionally won't hurt but I didn't drink at all while on chemo as it just didn't taste good to me! -
Hi Ladies- And Happy Healthy New Year to you all! I know I've been a bad member of this club- barely chcking in. Just wanted y'all to know I was thinking good things for everyone!
Teena -
Oh Donna...stay safe in the storm!!
Teena...hey girl...how are you? I got your message and will give you a call this weekend. I have to run off and grab some supplies as they are predicting an inch of ice here! Yikes...hope the power doesn't go out...I need my bc.org fix!
Janis...how are you? Any new news on the adoption?
Have been thinking of you all...just busy.
Think I'll grab a bottle of wine while I'm out...may need it to keep warm.
Hugs all
