Thank you all, ladies!
Yesterday was kind of a rough birthday, actually.....my poor son had what I think was his first "headache," and screamed and cried for the first 10 minutes of the fireworks. Then, he just stopped crying and fell asleep as the fireworks went, "KABLOOEY" over our heads.
For the first time in my life (did I mention that my Mom and I had shared our birthday? Therefore, the 4th was as big as Christmas in our family), we left the fireworks early.
We live in Firework Central (Indiana), and there were about a zillion fireworks shows going on as we drove home, but it just isn't as cool as being right there!Also, my hubby, who is like so many hubbies in the world, hates "doing stuff," and would rather stay home. As a result, he always ALWAYS gets grouchy before we even go wherever we were planning on going.
So, I had a grouchy hubby and a crying son.
The cool thing was, I got my first IPod as a birthday gift, though!Thanks again, ladies. I love you all!
