Just had my past 5 year Onc trip.

Last time (6 months ago) he flet the thickening in my breast and it was OK. This time I asked him to reassure me it was just scar tissue.

He took a feel and booked me for ultrasound on Monday and MRI if that's non-conclusive. I had multifocal IDC many tumors and this thickening is rubbery and maybe like 1/2 thumb in length. It hurts at times. I'm sure hoping for benign.

    Anybody>

I wouldn't owrry as much if it wasn't sitting smack on the area whereI had the 6cm lump. i had silicone implants replaced 2 years ago.

    Michelle,

I am so sorry. I am praying that it is Benign. I don't know much about that stage, because I am still in the expanders. But I am sure someone here has been through something similar. Just really wanted to say that we are here for you.

    Best wishes,

    Shelly

Oh, Michelle, I feel for you. I was just past the magic 5 year mark when I got hit up with a new primary. I can't speak to feeling things over the implants, but it sounds like there's a good plan in place for you.

Why did you need your silicone girls replaced two years ago?

I'm hoping you're just dealing with scar tissue. Please keep us posted.

Well PS isn't satisfied with US. She feels it too. Doesn't think it's her implant. She says maybe scar tissue, that's high on her list but with my history needs definitive test to determine.

So having MRI. My first. This time I'm steeling myself against worry until I need to. Worry has taken up too much of my good time.

I have family trip of a lifetime booked for Tuscany in a few weeks.

Michelle-- When is your MRI?  You know the drill--stay busy, think of Italy and bring your worries here.

    Good luck.

PS  I have had three MRI's and I entertain myself by imagining  weird sci fi movie creatures to accompany the strange clicking sounds.

Had MRI yesterday am...leave for Tuscany in an hour.

Will get results when I'm back in 10 days.

Hoping all comes out clear - and more importantly - that you have a wonderful trip.

MRI came back all good. Nothing troublesome.
