Quilt Thread
When I came on this morning to update the quilt thread I noticed it had vanished. Anyway I still have a few quilts to get to members here as soon as I get them done. Right now the wedding dresses come first.
I will post pictures of the quilts as soon as they are ready to ship, have them started but have to finish them.
I have been battling some other health issues besides the cancer right now and the sewing has been very hard for me. Just want you to know that you will all receive them that have them coming.
I'm sad to come here and find a different sight then I found 3 years ago when I first came here. I will be stopping by to check on how some friends are doing and to update you all on the quilts but other than that I guess its time to say good bye, this really isn't a place I want to hang out any longer.

Hey vicky-- i'm sorry your health is giving you grief.
Basically every week Melissa and Tami keep deleting threads. Its rather ridiculous, and most of the girls kind of joke about which thread will vanish next.
Anyway, we all love and miss you, and hope the quilt project is going well. -
Another wish for better health. and another thank you for all the hard work you have done and to let you know you are appreciated.

Hoping your health issues improve, and that you have a wonderful summer.
I'm sorry thw quilt thread was deleted. I've seen the pictures of the quilts you make and they are just beautiful.
Peace to you. -
Vicky,
Sorry to hear your not feeling well, can I do anything?
Praying for improved health.

Vicky,
I hope you are feeling well soon! You are truly an amazing and wonderful person. I will cherish my quilt forever! It really helps just to look at it when I am having a bad day. I hope you can take joy in knowing how much you and all the people who donated towards this project make in the lives of others.
Enjoy your daughters wedding, I am sure the dresses will be absolutely beautiful!

Vicki: I hadn't noticed that the quilt thread disappeared until I saw your post ... I wonder why its' gone ... there was no reason for that thread to be intentionally deleted. That's soooo sad - there was so much love and history in that thread.
I'm sure the wedding will be gorgous - along with the dresses you are making. I'm still in awe over the talent and patience that you have...
Vicki - I hope your health improves ... and that your pain will dissipate. I hope you'll stick around - or at least keep in touch ... you have my email - please use it!
Lots of love,
Doreen -
Here is the message I got back when I inquired about the quilt thread.
"I am not sure what happened to the quilt thread either. I will do some investigating and get back to you. I can ensure you it was not deleted by the moderators.
Thank you in advance for your patience while we figure out what happened.
Best,
Tami, moderator "
Thanks -
Thanks for the update Vicky on the quilt thread but nobody else would have had the authority to delete a thread unless somebody hacked in and I would have thought they would do more than delete one quilt thread, ya know?

I wonder if it got hit by the auto archive. Some boards have a process that will run on a certain time interval and 'prune' down the messages to keep the database manageable. It is usually date drive for example....remove messages that have not been active within the last 60 days, ...etc
-
If the thread was started by lilia (can't remember her screen name), all of her threads and posts have been deleted. I think that she may have been the author of that thread, so it is no longer around.
-
Some were getting tired of so many "sticky" posts at the top of the boards so Melissa and Tami made a new board for Interview Opportunities and Messages from the Moderators, so it may have inadverantly got lost when they were moving things around. Some of Lilia's other messages are still around, they just deleted the original post and have the author listed as anonymous. Hopefully, they'll be able to restore the quilt thread.

i was wondering if it got hit by the auto archive too. vicki, i dont' think this was deliberately removed....
i think if something is not posted on for a long time, it gets lost. same thing happened to a terrific gardening thread we used to have.....

Same thing happened to the 'garden of angels' thread where we listed those that have passed.

Hey dressmaker: got any more quilt pictures?
