Refrigerators-What do You Have-what do you like?

Our Refrigerator died today : (
I can never decide on something I am buying. We also have to cut the Cabinet above the fridge to make room for a normal size fridge...Our old one is less then 67" tall & not many choices less then 67" tall.
I want something I will love!
So...
What brand of fridge do you have?
How long have you had it?
What style?
(I am looking at the French Doors With Freezer at the Bottom)
Have you had any Problems with it?
What problems?
Do You Have Water/Ice In The Door & Like That Feature?
What do You Love About It?
What do You Hate About it?
Thanks!
I have to shop for this tonight!

Hi Pam,
We bought an LG french door bottom freezer about 2 months ago.
I really love it - it's quiet and spacious inside. We don't have the water/ice thing on the door.
However, it's actually 68 inches high. We live in an old Victorian semi (read narrow and small) and spent months trying to find one small enough and this was the only one that fit.
Good luck with your shopping,
Darya

My fridge is very basic, not the kind you're probably looking for. But I love my ice maker (internal). I don't have the dispensers on the door but I don't mind. But I loooove not having to make ice in trays.

LG with bottom freezer...had it for two years now and love it!

I had a bottom freezer for YEARS, switched to a french door style with ice and water on the door.
Bottom freezer held very little with an ice maker. Also----if you have back or knee problems(been there, done that) , it's a bitch to get stuff from, esp. the ice maker.
I adore the crushed ice and drink more water this way cause I always eat the ice; LOL
I like the side by side, it holds way more and every thing is more visable and easier to get to. the bottom 2 drawers (vegs and meat) make the upper shelves at eye level.

Thanks for your Replies!
I picked out a Fridge last night. I narrowed it down to 2. There was a Really nice Electrolux that had the best Interior Lights! I also liked their Glass Shvles that curved on the edges- Instead of havign Plastic trim. It looked much easier to wipe off Nice & fast.
I decided on a Samsung French door (bottom Freezer) Design. I did decide on Water & Ice on the door. Pretty much all I drink is water & not enough cause Im lazy. So maybe this will help with my water intake. (we didnt even have an Ice maker Before)
Hopefully it will come in today or tomorrow to the store & can be delivered Maybe Monday. Wont be home Much Sat for a Delivery.
Working on Emptying out the Cabinets now so dh can raise it & fit the Fridge! Something we knew would have to happen & we have been dreading this job for years.

Sorry about your fridge. I hope you didn't lose too much.
My favorite feature on a fridge is the ice/water thing where the fridge will make crushed ice. I've never bought a fridge, but if I did that would be a must.

Thanks Amy. Like everything else I will keep it in perspective & know it could be worse : )
But I am not happy with Lowes right now...As we still do not have a fridge. We were told it would be delivered in a few days. ...Website says today...Although it has not arrived even at their store yet (goes there 1st) dh talked to the manager & it shows it as arriving at their store on Tuesday! So that would mean Wednesday at the earliest here. I need more Ice for the cooler!
Grrrrr
I need my Ice maker on my fridge so I can put Ice In the Cooler- LOL
