I agree let's do both..
Thanks for saying you would call ahead to CPK Brenda!!
-
Let's do both.
-
Hi guys---Brenda--I think I'd better drive myself this week---I'm going to put myself down as possible--was scheduled yesterday for an iffusion yesterday for "ZOMETA" on Friday and they told me that there was a possibility of feeling "flu-like" for a few days. New QCT(instead of DEXA) showed very abnormal bone in my spine and they are switching me from arimidex to tamoxifen, zometa twice a yr and fosamax once a month and rescan in a yr to look at it again. So--if I'm up for it on Sat--I'll see you all if not I'll catch you in July!
-
Thanks, everyone! I will miss you this weekend. Think good thoughts, prayers, etc. on Friday for me
-
We will do just that Lisa!!!!
Sylvia..what is a QCT??
BTW I took a walk today and saw this rose...
-
Boy oh boy Liz---you are the master photographer!! A QCT is what Imaging Heathcare (The old RMG) now does instead of the dexa---prob can charge more for it!!!
Anyway---some places still do the dexa and I guess this is the "latest and greatest" for bone density.

-
Sylvia-I hope you feel well enough to come. You can always call me Saturday morning if you want.
-
Thanks B--and I do know that and appreciate you saying so!
I'll see how it goes--I know myself well enough by now that I might want to bull thru it all and then get REALLY tired and I just am playing it SAFE!!
-
OHHHHHH, Liz, that rose is GORGEOUS, just like you.
Hugs, Shirl
-
I'm going to try to make it on Saturday, but I'm still tentative. June has been crazy and continues to be so with high school graduation, 5th grade promotion, my husband's 50th b-day today, a camping trip and my middle son's 15th b-day.
We're leaving Sunday to go beach camping at San Elijo State Beach, so I may be busy packing the trailer for our trip... but I'm going to try to take an hour or two off to come to lunch!
Lisa #3
-
Hey, Lisa #3, your DH and I both have milestone birthdays today--I'm turning 40!
Woo hoo! And actually, that's why I can't come tomorrow, b/c we're having some friends over for a BBQ to celebrate.
-
I called CPK and they said I have to call at 11:30 tomorrow for them to set our table. They don't actually take reservations. I will call them in the morning and see you all there. Are we down to 6?
-
I've lost count, but I will be there. Am looking forward to seeing who all is there.

-
Thank you for the b-day avatar, Brenda--that is really cool!

-
I just called CPK. They have us on what they call the wait list for 8-10 people at 12:30. I put my name on it. We probably aren't going to have that many but this way we will have room. See you all there.

How great is it to see our San Diego ladies
We missed all who were not able to come today..
-
It was a very nice lunch today. I really enjoyed our wonderful conversations. You are all such fascinating women.
-
Hello Ladies---you all look beautiful----sorry to have missed it and I'm glad you had a great time!
Sylvia
-
OK I put them all together now..
-
Liz, thanks so much. This was very kind of you!
Stay safe everyone. Hopefully we can pull something together for July. I know summer is hard, with so many vacations, etc.

Starfish-I think you need to give us a date that works for you. You are the one moving and I am sure that is stressful enough without trying to met our needs. I hope your surgery went well and healing is quick. We missed you.
-
I ditto what Brenda says, Starfish...I hope you are recovering well
and we can find a date that works for you...of course, your health
comes first and foremost...hugs to you and your beautiful daughter..

Beautiful pics, Liz.
-
Does the 12th or 13th work. I can't image how busy you will be the last week-end before you move Starfish.
-
Hi all my sweet sisters, Liz, those pix are awesome! Just beautiful, and our dear Brenda, only has two active boys at home and a full time job! My dear, you are a whiz.
Had so much fun, got to ride with Liz, talk with all of you, it is really special.
Hugs, Shirlann
-
Starfish..you haven't answered us as to how you are doing??
I am hoping you are OK...
Maybe we could make a lunch place very near you...
Shirlann, yes it was fun wasn't it..
