Hi,
Darn! I will be going to my favorite beach in SC for 2 weeks starting July 19th. Well, not darn! about going to the beach, but darn! about missing the get-together. I hope you all have a wonderful time. If we have a fall get-together, I will be there!
Best,
Carolina aka Catherine -
Okay Susan I'm in your car, and I'll pay the tolls !!!!!!!! LOL ...I'd really like to meet some of the NY ladies..... So what date has been decided?? Need to mark my calendar...Hugs, I'll keep checking back KLynn
-
Okay so it sounds like july 20th is the date. Location TBA but in midtown.
Do you guys want to do a late brunch like last time, or an early (5pm) dinner?
-
will check out some midtown restaurants and if anyone else has a suggestion that would be great too! does anyone like thai food
there is this great thai place by me
-
jdash-
I am not sure about the group but I love thai food or japanese (I do know sushi is a no no for anyone on chemo right now) do not want to exclude anyone, so ethnic maynot be a good idea. I will think about midtown restaurants as well.
Patsy's is a good Pizza/Italian place for groups

Hi EVERYONE: as of right now, July 20th sounds good with me to join you girls AND BOYS.
Beth, keep us posted about place/time and if the date changes.
Thanks,
-
why only girls? dont you want to include male BC survivorss. We are lonely because we have no others to really talk about the BC cause there are so few of us
-
mkurtzman: you are so very right! I w/ edit my answer to reflect EVERYONE. As a matter of fact, while waiting to see my oncologist years ago, I met my first male breast cancer survivor. He had just retired, young fellow, was looking forward to enjoy the rest of his life, and BANG!!!!!!!!!!!! He has to be on chemo for the rest of his life. Made me very sad.
-
Love to be there as last time was a blast, but I'll be upstate at a karate seminar (kiai!!). Have a drink for me, please
-

-
Julia,
July 20 is fine with me, but certainly not set in stone.
-
I am in Philly. Any other PA gals (or guys) want to carpool?
-
The 20th isnt set in stone-- I'd rather a date where almost everyone could attend. For those of you that the 20th doesn't work do you have other dates that do?
-
Hi Beth and Everyone,
Please go on with the get together on the 20th. The majority can make it and I can't come up with another date. I hope we will gather again in the fall. Until then, have a great time and a drink for me!
Love to you all
Shirley
p.s. Beth - can't wait to see your dress!
-
Just to let you know that the 20th won't work for me either.
My daughter is coming home from Europe that day and I'll be at the airport.
I'll be looking for the next gathering. Have fun everyone!
Peggy

-
Well, you know I can get to Monroe.
Just to let everybody know, it's just a few miles from Woodbury Common Outlet Mall if you want to combine a get together with a shopping trip.
-
AUGUST it is-- I'd rather wait till everyone can do it.
-
August sounds good!
-
The more the merrier I say - August can work for me too, just let me know when.
-
I was waiting to post because almost all of July wasn't good for me with weddings and grad parties. August is wide open! Not sure how to get to Monroe..but I'm sure I can figure it out.

-
I think we should do it in August.
Do we still want to do it in Manhattan?
-
