not yet, but planning to do so soon.  my onc recommended a doc to go to. my rebound pain from lupus was so bad that i could barely stand much less walk.  pain is better now that i'm on steroids again but still want to try accupuncture for stress relief and toxin removal...i think it does that.  my younger son has done it and just swears by it.  only problem is that none of my insurances cover anything so it will be completely out of pocket.  which means i'll have to limit how many times i do it. let me know how it is...you'll probably get to it sooner than i will. maria

A friend of the family had acupuncture for hip problems and it helped quite a bit.

I did acupuncture during treatment.  I think it does work, but it's important to find someone who's truly skilled.  Also, you have to go frequently, and generally insurance doesn't cover it, or only a portion of it... however, you can claim the portion you pay on your taxes.

You should definitely give it a try, but it will take a few sessions before you notice any changes.

    Stacey,

I, too, did acupuncture during treatment.  It really helped me alot with the naseau while I was on chemo.  I started before beginning chemo so she could work on boosting my immune system and it really seemed to help.  I agree with Beth, make sure you find someone who is skilled.  I remember someone here telling of driving down the highway pulling out needles after she had it done!   Not a good endorsement for that acupuncturist!  LOL
