Amoena Tria Plus

Does anyone use the Amoena Tria Plus? This is the one with the tape to attach the form securely to your skin. I was thinking of getting one to wear with evening dresses that can be tricky to wear with a bra. The other night I put my contact form into a shelf bra camisole and noticed part way through the evening that my form was sitting down near the middle of my stomache! Good thing the dress had a belt or it would have been on the floor. The stickiness of the contact form has definitely diminished over time.
I went on-line to look at the Tria Plus and it turns out that Amoena is discontinuing the product. This tells me that either, it wasn't a very good product or it worked but wasn't very popular. I figure that if I want one, I'd better order one before they are all soldout. Many of the sites only have one or two sizes left.
Would love to hear from any one who has experience with it.
Thanks, Susan

Hi Susan,
A woman who used to post here uses that form and loves it. Hopefully, she'll see your post and respond. You may have already seen her photos on my BreastFree website. The photos show the skin triangles that attach to her skin, then the forms separately and in place, then how it looks with and without a bra in clothes.
I also recently noticed that Amoena is discontinuing the product. They seem to be putting all their focus on the new version of the contact form you already have--now they're using a gel backing that's supposed to remain cooler. But it doesn't sound as if the stickiness will be any different. Sorry to hear the stickiness of yours has diminished. How long have you had the form?
Interestingly, the Tria Plus has been really popular in the transvestite/transgendered community. Maybe someone, if not Amoena, will come up with a replacement.

Susan,
I have the Amoena contact lite and have also had the stickiness diminish. I use fashion tape or wardrobe tape that helps add a little stickiness. You can get it at Bed Bath and Beyond, Victorias Secret, or the Hahnes outlets.

OMG. I haven't been to the forums for a long time, only to get this news. I am the one who loves the Tria Plus. I don't know how I will be able to cope without it. Wow, this is horrible. I don't know what I am going to do. I use this form almost all the time. Help!

Update. I found a pair of Tria Plus in my size, still available on the internet, but it wasn't easy. Apparently Amoena has changed "hands" again, thus the new product emphasis and consequent discontinuation of other items. There was an e-mail address on the updated site. I wrote, to ask if they would continue to offer the skin supports for those who still use the form. Of course, I haven't heard back from them. I wrote to the company once before about swimsuits for small women, and was ignored. Why do they even bother putting up e-mail addresses. So phoney!!! They don't care about us, only look at us as a BIG business.

ddd,
I went ahead and ordered one on-line but haven't seen it yet. Like you said, most had just one size left. Probably, the ones with all sizes left just don't update their size drop downs. It is a concern that they may discontinue making the skin supports.
I too have that small woman swimsuit problem. I can't believe they didn't even bother writing back!
