2nd cancer in deep muscle wall

    I had breast cancer 13 years ago, and found a lump in Jan, 08, yes it came back this time in the deep muscle wall. I have done 4 rounds of TC and cannot do radiation, as that area had been radiated 13 years ago. My surgeon removed what was left of the tumor on Thursday, th 19th, and what a incision I have. Has anyone else been thru this?   I now have to wait for the pathology report?  Please adivse. Thanks

    Can I ask how you found it?  A CT scan?  Yourself?

    hensonChi, I found it both myself bathing, and I had yearly mamaograms and went every 6 months for a follow up with my surgeon and every 6 months to my ocono for a follow up for the last 13 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HensonChi, I got my pathalothy report and all is well. The ocono is going to leave things alone and will continue on the Femara. I am having a girls weekend starting today, need a break. Have a good weekend and thank you for your prayers. God is good and has a plan for all of us.
