NY State Disability Taking Forever

    I filed almost seven months ago for disability.

    In the past two weeks, I had two medical appointments with their consultants.

    How long have you had to wait beyond that point to hear if you have been approved, or anything?

    I filed through my company and it was about 2 months for short term disability... don't forget to put aside 10% for taxes-- it's tough- b/c disability paid me between 50-60% of my salary- but of course I still has to pay 100% of the bills.
