Jaz.
Where were you young lady?
I miss you when I don't see you at least once a day!
Get your scooter and let's go for a ride. K!
-
Sorry to be MIA yesterday. Sometimes I have a ton of meetings for work and then others hardly anything. Yesterday was one of those meeting days starting at 8 am so I guess I just got busy.
How is everyone doing?
Foot -- I hope things get better for you.
Neesie -- how are those new clients working out.
Celia -- I've been told that you are an amazing artist. Do you have any of your work you would feel comfortable posting?
Not meaning to miss anyone but I have another project meeting and I need to work on my part of the presentation. I'll be back later.
-
Coming soon .
The Zen of the Flip Flop.
-
Aw yes the meetings.
I understand. Pretty snazzy scooter there Jazzy.
I love it.
Good luck and hang tuff with all meetings.
XOXO
-
What's this Jaz, are you trying to be a biker?? LOL!
Wings, I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I'm sure it is very hard on your dh.
Celia, you have been posting the most amazing pics of glass art. Yes, do you have anything that you have done, that you could post???
Beach greetings, Sahalie. I just heard that flip flops are bad for your feet. Harrrumph!!! My feet have permanent marks from mine! That just can't be true.
Faith must be in Aruba by now. Ooooooh, I'll bet it's hot!
Hi there, Neesie, Susan, and Amy. Just dropping in from work, so I'll talk to you all later.
-
Wings, I am so sorry to hear that your FIL passed away. Sending warm hugs and thoughts to you, husband, daughter and the entire family. I have no doubt in my mind that your DH was a wonderful son and took alot of time with his Dad over the past years, and I have no doubt in my mind that you stood beside him all the time.
Jaz.....Clients.....Low in numbers right now....sad, but the state just doesn't want to fund the agencies that allow these people to stay in their own homes.
For all you Flip Flop Fanatics..............have you seen the 'designer' flips that come with different straps to accent your outfit???? Cute as a button!
Just came back from Hair Cut and Dentist.......now got to get a few things done.

A Note to our sisters and your families in the Midwest.
I am watching the news and it just hit me extremely hard about
the flooding, your homes, your farms and live stock, your pets.
I cannot believe what you all are having to endure and I wonder
in my mind what on this earth is happening with all the
flooding in our Midwest, tornado's, earthquakes in Nevada,
China, Mexico.
I am watching as those of you see your homes under water and
just listened to the reporter explaining how thousands of acres
of corn and soy beans are now under water.
I saw live stock trying to keep their balance on floating tin
roof tops of what once were their homes in barns.
It just really hit me.
I will help in any way I can through our local red cross or
whom ever let's us know how to help.
I live on the west coast but we can all help where ever we live.
It breaks my heart.
We make light here on this little wonderful beach thread we
visit daily to save our sanity and I wish this for our Midwest
families in reality.
I just had to say something as I watch this flood devastation.
I pray with all my might that the remaining levee's stay put and
the flood waters recede quickly.
I am just shocked by it all.
Bless you all, your families and your spirit.

hi beachies,
i am having a hard day and won't get to spend much time on the beach today. A really special, dear friend is in the hospital and she and the doc do not know how long she will be there. She means the world to me and i am scared.
wings, so sorry to hear to hear of the passing of your father-in-law. so much sadness sometimes.
at least i think i will watch the cabana boys polish your Mustang today.
hi to all the beachies.

I agree, the flooding, tornadoes, fires and earthquakes are very frightening and I also worry about all.
We have several here that I know that are surrounded by this. Susan for one is in MO..........so far they are safe....but she was saying it depends on how many of the levee's (sp) give out.
A few that I can think of without giving addresses...We have MO, OK, Bama, AR........these are floods. Then we have Sahalie and Margo with the fires. It is scary and I to would like to offer help in any way that I can.
Neesie

Celia. I'm thinking of you while you are thinking about your
friend.
I hope and pray all goes well and your friend will be good as
new before you can say
"supercalifantasticsantacruznorthwest."
Sending you a sunshine hug.

It's a blasting mid 90's here again today.
I want the fog to return please!
I found my total solution to cleaning my floors which
would be clean if I cleaned them more.
Ha.
I think these should do the job.
*
Go a head. Laugh. I'll let you know if they work.
I had to adventure to one of my favorite stores earlier today to
purchase another birthday gift.
Seems to be the month.
-
Jaz.
You have a beautiful heart.
Celia.
I wish you good news and a peaceful night tonight.
Ames.
I hope you are experiencing comfort.
Foots.
I wish you the same as I know how much you are going through and you carry yourself so wonderfully.
Wings.
I know you have a heavy heart at this time and must be a comfort to your dear dh and the family.
We miss you so very much but our hearts are with you and go through this difficult time.
Faith.
Lady of leisure on Aruuuuuba with dh and a boat load of Cabana boys.
We miss you so very much too and although we want you to be there and enjoy every moment, we miss YOU.
As Sarah, WB and beach babies must be missing you immensely by now.
Neesie.
It looks so exciting for you to be getting ready for your trek to Pinkstock '08.
You must be so excited.
BikerJanny.
Seeing you ride in on your bike at warp speed is always a
high and reason to party.
spar.
Hope you spend more time on the beach.
*
Some have left. Too bad.
New friends join in. Wonderful!
Welcome.

-
Wings, I'm sorry about your FIL. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Celia, I'm sorry about your friend. I am sure you are bringing her some comfort. One of my co-workers who has a recurrence of ovarian cancer is back in the hospital again. Apparently she has to go back on chemo for the rest of her life and her tumors have spread to her lung now....it doesn't sound good.
I was thinking about the strange weather conditions we have been experiencing around the country. I'm not worried about the fires here because they were north and south of me and Sahalie so we were safe, but I am worried about those I know in MO, OK, Bama, AR, to name a few. Stay safe everyone and let us know if we can help. I saw one family on the news tonight that had lost their dream home - they were going to buy it and were living in it and lost it in a tornado a few months ago. Then they moved and this week lost their second home in a flood. So sad.
-
Celia..this is for you...
-
Lisa. What an absolutely beautiful rose.
I know Celia will love it as do I.
Welcome!
-
socal, thank you so much for posting that beautiful rose. I PM'd you.
thanks for all your kind words, sahalie, margaretb, socal.

Good morning Beach Angels. I'm off and running again so no time to make a big post. I hope to be back after lunch.
Surprise song of the day! Wash away your troubles, wash away your cares on the road to Shamballa. Nothing like a little Three Dog Night to get you nostalgic.

*
Good Great New Day Beach Babes All Day.
What a glorious morning in the neighborhood.
*
Jasmine sweet flower of friendship.
Perfect song selection as usual.
I am washing away any problemo's.
Ah, Shambala. A beautiful place to be sure.
You know Jaz, it just hit me that what do you want to bet my
favorite show "LOst" has ties to Shambala.
You may have just solved the mystery of the island.
I'll converse with my brother on this hypotheses as he is the
master of solving the clues.
This will really tickle his mind nerves.
Perhaps he will be familiar with this concept and will enlighten
me more.
Thank you for the song. Perfectomundo.
Please sneak away to the beach after lunch as you stated K!
*
Welcome deborye.
Thank you for the kind hug and please feel
hugs right back for you.
*
Today will be another scorcher here on my area of the beach.
Hotter than an opened Jalapeno with exposed seeds.
Which reminds me I should be watering.
In a minute.
*
Celia. I wish today all good things, feelings, support and
love to you and those you are praying for.
I look forward to when you are feeling a bit better
but I know emotions and concern are a mighty road
we must walk slowly.
I know you know we are here for you. Always.

For Celia*

Hey Beach babe-elletts let's sweep the beach and find some
outrageous shells to share.

Must water plants. Return uno momento.

There is no other place I would like to be but the beach today. Soft sand, warm sun, fresh air.
Thank you for the welcome.
-
Loving our Earth. Taking care.
-
Good Afternoon, beach babes!
As usual, I'm posting from work, just dreaming about the beach.
Celia, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. That was a beautiful flower that Socal posted for you.
Sahalie, glad you are not in the path of the fires. The only strange thing we have going on here, is that it is too cool for this time of year. We went from a blistering heat wave to the 70s over night.
Hellooooooo Neesiewoman!
Susan, how is work treating you?
Hello Deborye. I don't think I know you. If you are new to the beach, welcome!!! This is a great group of beach bums!
-
*
Oh Yaaaaaa
-
Jannybabes.
Rev it up and Great to see you.
Yes indeedie we are a great group of beach bums.
Bike down the beach path as often as pasa doble K!
You can park your bike next to Wings mustang.
Hi Wings!
Warm wishes to you and yours.
Susan must be working very long hours being that it's
summertime.
Neesie.
I found a picture for you and it's making me laugh just
thinking of it. I'll try to find it.
Faith is fanning on famous Aruuuuuuuba.
Hi Faith!
Jaz, Is is lunch time yet?
-
hi beach friends,
thanks jan and sahalie for your kind words. i was up late on the phone with my friend who is in the hospital, researching for clues on the internet for her unusual symptoms after chemo. I have not been able to spend too much time on this beach the last few days. I did walk a bit this morning to try to find some shells like sahalie suggested, but found several other lovely things that caught my eye instead.
Here is a piece of beach glass for spar:
and look what else i saw:
and one more totally charming sand sculpture:
so whimsical and just what we need here on this peaceful beach where we are all relaxing away from our busy and often difficult lives.
today my heart goes on beating and my pacific northwest sky is BLUE and i am hopeful.
now i must go look for some seashells.

Beautiful finds and treasures Celia.
-
See you all laters.
I'm taking the family out for a south of the border meal this evening.
It's a blasting high 90's here. Too hot.
-
Hi girls, no time to post except to say hi. It's 95 freaking degrees outside right now. I have an ob/gyn appt tomorrow - fun but we do what we gotta do. Going to find some shade. Sahalie, if it's 95 here, it's got to be over 100 where you are.
-
To all my Beach Friends I am sending a big wave of love and hope to help make life alittle easier. Sahalie I enjoyed the beach party! Celia I am sending you an hugging angel to comfort you. Well to all the beach babies that need a hug!...............there. Well I am going to rest. I thank everyone for the support. Since the cancer dr put me on the pill and now I am done My lung hurts and I have a bad cold. Please be good to yourselves,Love Debbie
-
wow margaret, 95 degrees is quite hot and way too early for in your area. It did get to 95 degrees occasionally in Berkeley but only in Indian summer in late september.
sahalie, my hubby has a riding mower just like that one, same color and all, but has never had a fire. it is currently not in use while he puts off getting the part he needs for it. i will ask him when he is awake what can cause a fire in one of those things. that is so annoying when we don't renew the warranty because they want too much and the-whatever-it-is crashes and burns. lucky his fire extinguisher was nearby!!
well, tomorrow is a new day and will be another day on the beach and i hope that some of the others show up for fun and jokes and music: wings, jasmine, spar, neesie, footprints (hope you are feeling better!) and any others.
